Jaden wore a serious expression as he started his turn "I summon Elemental HERO Sparkman in attack mode!" Jaden stated as the electric monster formed "Now I equip him with Spark Blaster, letting me change the position of one of your monster with each blast, Gate Guardian, take a knee!" Jaden shouted, Sparkman shot the Gate Guardian with electricity, switching it to defense mode "That was an odd choice, unless Jaden has a plan, he just wasted his move" Bastion stated, Adam gritted his teeth ("I haven't been nervous like this before, Jaden dueling Chazz didn't have any real backlash, but if he loses here, he's expelled") he thought, his grip on his sleeves tightened to the point of nearly ripping them "Adam, calm down" Alexis said, Adam took a breath "They better win" he hissed.
"You must be a fool, when Gate Guardian is in defense he never tires, you're situation's just as dire" Para said "And I hate to feed the fire but the Defense Wall is yet to retire" Dox continued "Great thanks, I throw down a facedown and end my turn" Jaden replied sarcastically "Fine, I set a card facedown, no more or less, brother, you do the rest" Dox said "Yes, that would be for the best, for next turn, I'll win this contest" Para said, Syrus groaned "Jaden, you heard them, we're done next turn, I shouldn't even draw, they might at least let you have a rematch" Syrus said "Syrus listen, one draw is all it take to turn a duel around, remember? The right card could get you a victory" Jaden stated.
Adam smiled "If Jaden wasn't a duelist, he's be a motivational speaker" he commented, making Bastion and Alexis chuckle. Syrus drew his card and smiled "I summon Drilloid in attack mode, an when it attacks a monster, it's automatically destroyed!" Syrus stated, the drill monster went for the Gate Guardian "Defense Wall!" Dox shouted, as the wall blocked Drilloid's attack, bringing Jaden and Syrus' life points down to 1200 "A nice try" Para said "But not nice enough" Dox continued "Gate Guardian still stands" Par stated "Despite your best stuff" Dox finished "But that wasn't his best" Jaden said, the brothers looked confused, Syrus nodded "That's right, now that you're defense wall's rubble, your monster'll get it, I activate Shield Crush! As the name suggests, it destroys any monster in defense position, like your Gate Guardian!" Syrus said as the large monster was destroyed.
"Yeah!!!" Adam shouted, Bastion and Alexis turned to him surprised to see him let out that much emotion that wasn't rage "Now I set a card and end my turn" Syrus said "Mind if we join in in the praise you two?" Para asked "Because for destroying our monster..." Dox continued "We must thank you" the brothers finished "What?" Adam asked "Now I activate Dark Element, since Gate Guardian is in the grave we pay half our life points and summon Dark Guardian!" Para stated as he and Dox's life points fell to 3500, but in exchange summoned a more powerful monster "Oh come the hell on! 3800 attack? They just dealt with the Gate Guardian!" Adam yelled ("There he is") Alexis thought.
"Now Dark Guardian, attack Drilloid, Axe Slash Bash!" Para ordered, the monster readied it's axe "This is it, if this connects..." Bastion said "They're fucked" Adam hissed "Uh, yes, that" Bastion replied "Hold on, I activate my facedown, Hero Barrier, now I can stop one of your attacks as long as I have an elemental HERO on the field, and Sparkman is standing tall!" Jaden stated, as the barrier stopped the attack, Syrus fell to his knees "Get up Sy" Jaden ordered "But-" Jaden cut Syrus off "No buts, we got this" Jaden stated.
Jaden drew his next card "My turn, and I activate Pot of Greed! Letting me draw two more cards, and now I play fusion gate!" Jaden shouted, activating the field spell "Now I don't need Polymerization to summon fusions, so I fuse Elemental HERO Avion, Bubbleman and Sparkman to summon, wait for it...there! Elemental HERO Tempest!" Jaden shouted "A fine creature, but it's not enough" Bastion said "Who's side are you on?" Alexis asked "A foolish move, boy" Para said "Dark Guardian is still deployed, and since he cannot be destroyed" Dox continued "Your monster is null and void" Para stated "Void this! I activate Skyscraper, now Tempest gets an extra 1000 attack points" Jaden stated as a city rose to the field.
"Now, Tempest, Powerhouse Plummet!" Jaden yelled as his monster dove down onto the Dark Guardian "Did you forget? Dark Guardian cant be beat" Para stated "So just accept your defeat!" Dox said "Sy, can you spare a card?" Jaden asked "Yeah" Syrus answered "I activate Tempest's effect, by send one of our cards to the grave, he isn't destroyed" Jaden said "You wasted a battle phase you jackass!" Adam yelled.
Dox drew his card "I activate One on One fight, the card forces our strongest monsters to battle, I how your Tempest is up for a rematch!" Dox stated "Why? It'll clash again" Syrus said "I have my reasons" Dox replied "And sneaky one's, Jaden'll have to keep banishing cards to tie with Dark Guardian" Alexis said "I hate to do it, but oh well, I have to get rid of Skyscraper" Jaden said as the buildings fell "You save your monster, but not your life points!" Dox yelled, as Jaden and Syrus' life points fell to 200, Adam was visibly shivering "No...not yet, Jaden, don't you lose again you bastard" he growled, Alexis placed a hand on Adam's and gave him a reassuring look, Adam stopped shaking and sighed "Gotta have faith in those two" he said.
"That's all for me" Dox said "And for my next turn, my guarantee" Para stated "This duel is ours, just wait and see" Dox finished "Sy, remember what I said" Jaden said "Right" Syrus replied, drawing his card "First I sacrifice Drilloid to summon UFOroid, and I activate Power Bond!" Syrus yelled, Jaden nodded "This card allows me to fuse monsters, Jaden..." Syrus said "What's mine is yours" Jaden said "Then I fuse UFOroid and Tempest to summon UFOroid Fighter, who's attack points are the sum of it's fusion material!" Syrus stated "That makes it 4000 attack point strong" Bastion stated "Enough of your useless prattle" Para stated "Dark Guardian cant be destroyed by battle" Dox stated "True, but Power Bond double's my fusion monster's attack!" Syrus replied "Making 8000!" The brothers stated "Dark Guardian will survive, but your life points wont. Attack, UFOroid Fighter, Cosmic Flux Blast!" Syrus ordered as his monster blasted the brother's life points to 0.
"THERE YOU TWO GO!!!" Adam screamed, jumping to his feet with a smile on his face "Have you ever seen him this energetic?" Bastion asked "No, but can you blame him?" Alexis asked "Good point" Bastion chuckled, Adam sighed with relief "Jaden, you bastard, making me worry about you a second time" he whispered
