"You're behind all of this?!" Adam shouted "Of course, but I might as well tell you the full story before I defeat you" Banner said "What the hell are you talking about?!" Adam asked "I was once a duelist with unlimited potential. I searched for the rarest and most powerful cards. Finally, I was lead to the ultimate prize, a lost tomb hidden in an ancient desert, it held a duelists dream, the very first duel cards" Banner stated.
Flashback
"Like Pegasus years before, I sought out their power, but the timber was cursed, and science had no answer to the magic that took over by body" Banner stated. A younger Banner explored an ancient tomb with images of cards engraved in the wall "I tried everything, but only one thing could be done. So I used alchemy to create a new body, a homunculus, and artificial body that I placed my soul inside" Banner explained.
Present
"Wait, I don't know much about alchemy but aren't you not supposed to use it on a living being?" Zed asked "This body is only temporary, it won't belong before I turn to dust. I don't have much time" Banner stated as his skin started to crack and crumble "Hold on, you're saying that you're a clone?" Jaden asked "And to live, I need the power of the Sacred Beasts" Banner stated "You really intend to sacrifice the world all for yourself? I'm not gonna let that happen!" Adam shouted "It's too late, once you lose, I'll beat Jaden and the cards will be mine" Banner stated "In that case, I'm not gonna lose!" Adam shouted, Banner put Pharoah down and she reluctantly ran off "I believe it was my turn. I activate Chaos Screen. If I have no cards in my graveyard and four are banished, I can draw twice, and both those cards will be set facedown. Next I use Golden Homunculus to attack your Dark Armed Dragon, and it's attack points go up by another 300 thanks to me using Chaos Screen" Banner stated as the monster destroyed the dragon, dropping Adam's life points to 6200 "Your turn, Adam" Banner said.
Adam recovered and drew his card "Cauldron, heal" he said, his life points rising back up to 8200 "Even if Dark Armed's gone, so is your Elemental Absorber, so Flare Metal can attack" Adam shouted "You fool, I activate Macrocosmos! This alows me to remove Chaos Distill from play, and remove your from this world!"Banner shouted as Chaos Distil exploded in a flash of light, everyone to block their eyes.
Once everyone's vision cleared, they were in what looked like outer space "The power of alchemy flows through me, it had broken our earthly bonds and taken us here" Banner stated "I'm getting tired of you" Adam hissed "Then you'll be happy to know that this duel is almost over. With Macrocosmos I can summon Helios the Primordial Sun!" Banner stated as the monster rose into view, planets began to close in in the group, revealing the trapped souls inside them "Chazz!" Jaden shouted "Uncle Atticus" Zed said, a single tear streamed down Adam's face "...Alexis..." he whispered "They can't hear you, they're my prisoners now, like you will be for all eternity" Banner held the dark book in his hand "Face it, this tome is your destiny. Soon you and Jaden will be locked in its pages a pathetic footnote in my assension to greatness!" Banner shouted "Assension? You can go ahead and kiss that word from your brain. You're not ascending anywhere, when this duel is over, you're going straight to Hell!" Adam shouted.
"Don't you see, you can't beat me, you don't have what it takes, you, your friends and your beloved family are finished. I paid for this book with my flesh and blood, I will not lose it to a child!" Banner shouted "This child's taken in Shadow Rider's, Gravekeepers, vampires, the list goes on, you'll fall just like they did" Adam stated "Don't you see, all of your matches, yours and Jaden's were fixed, so you'd get spirit keys and face me" Banner stated, opening his red eyes "You both are pathetic!" Banner stated "All of it...was a set up? All so we would get spirit keys to protect?" Jaden asked "Correct!" Banner stated, Adam fell silent "I don't believe a word coming out of your mouth. I know what I can do in a duel, I know the amount of people that have been in the business end of my deck and lost, but if there is truth to what you say, and this is my only genuine duel here, I'm happy that I'm gonna use it to kick your ass!" Adam yelled.
