"I summon Troupe Dragon in defense mode, and play a facedown" Nightshroud stated "Well thenc my go" Zed said, drawing his card "I activate Magician's Souls' effect from my hand, I send a spellcaster to the grave, and send Souls to the grave to special summon the card I sent first, and that card...is Dark Magician!" As the magician appeared and glared at Nightshroud "Nice move, a high level monster on the first turn, you really are my son" Adam said, Zed chuckled "Now I set a facedown and my magician will attack, Dark Magic Attack!" Zed yelled, as the magician released a wave of magic, destroying Troupe Dragon "Oh wait, I forgot to mention, thank's to it's effect, when Troupe Dragon's destroyed, I can summon another to my field" Night shroud stated as another dragon appeared "Fine, I end my turn" Zed replied.
Nightshroud drew his card "Now, I play Call of The Haunted, letting me summon Troupe Dragon back from the grave" Nightshroud stated "Okay..." Zed replied "But I'm not done, now I trade in my dragons to summon the Red-Eyes Black Dragon!" Nightshroud said, a fiery dragon came up from the lava and the black dragon flew from it. Adam tensed up "Jaden, Alexis, hold me back!" He yelled, the two grabbed Adam, holding him in place "You son of a bitch, I play Red-Eyes better than you ever will, Zed you better destroy the copycat bastard!!!" He yelled "Calm down" Alexis ordered "Yeah, chill out" Jaden said.
Adam continued to thrash around, making Zed chuckle "You may have a big monster up, but my magician is just strong enough to take it out" Zed said, Nightshroud set a card "Then go ahead" he said, Zed drew "If you say so, but first I set another card, now hit him with another Dark Magic Attack" Zed ordered "Ha! Reveal face down, Negate Attack, this ca-" Nightshroud was cut off "It negates an attack, it's right there on the label" Zed said "Uh...yes" Nightshroud "Well then, that's it for me, go" Zed stated, Nightshroud drew a card and smiled "You're right, this is it for you, because I play Inferno Fire Blast, and since Red-Eyes is on the field, you take 2400 points of damage" Nightshroud stated, the dragon shot a fireball past the Dark Magician at Zed, blowing him backwards and dropping his life points to 1600 "Wait, that hurt?" Zed asked "Thats right, this is what Shadow Game does!" Nightshroud stated.
"You done?" Zed asked, Nightshroud looked at his hand "I am" he said "Good, my draw" Zed stated "I reveal my facedown, Eternal Soul, not only are all the Dark Magicians out unaffected by card effects, but I can summon another Dark Magician from my hand" Zed stated as the second magician formed "Now that there are two level 7s on the field, I xyz summon Ebon High Magician!" Zed yelled as the monster formed "I don't get it, why would Zed summon a weaker monster?" Jaden asked "That's all" Zed said, Nightshroud drew his card "Good, I summon Mirage Dragon" Nightshroud yelled as the dragon formed "Now, Red-Eyes attack, Inferno Fire Blast!" He yelled "Reveal facedown, Draining Shield, now I gain life points equal to the attacking monster's attack points" Zed stated as his life points rose to 4000 "Full health again" he said.
Zed drew his card "This will work, I activate Dark Magic Circle, now I can look at the top three cards of my deck, and if one is or lists Dark Magician, I can add it to my hand, Zed stated, taking the card "Now I activate Timaeus the United Dragon's effect, and send Thousand Knives to the grave to special summon him!" Zed shouted as the dragon formed "Since you like dragon's so much, I brought one of my own, now Timaeus, attack Mirage Dragon!" Zed ordered, the dragon's clashed, but the Mirage Dragon was destroyed, dropping Nightshroud's life points to 2800 "Done" Zed stated.
Nightshroud drew his card "Now, let me show you the power of my cards, I sacrifice Red-Eyes Black Dragon to summon Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon!" He yelled, the black dragon was engulfed in flames, and out flew a larger black wyvern "Now the ashes of my fallen dragons rise up to give my Darkness Dragon 300 more attack points for each one!" Nightshroud yelled as the dragon's attack rose to 3900 "Damn" Adam said "This is over, attack, Infernal Dark Fire!" Nightshroud yelled as the dragon launched stream of fire at the Ebon High Magician "Fina-damn-ly" Zed said "You can have that dragon's effect, but it wont matter, I have a trap, Skill Drain!" Zed yelled "What?!" Nightshroud replied "By paying 1000 life points, Skill Drain negates all monster effects on the field, sure my monster effects are negated too, but your dragon's attack boost is gone!" Zed stated.
The fire stream hit the magician and blew it away "I may still take the attack, but it's a lot less damage" Zed stated as his life goings dropped to 2900 "But now that Ebon High Magician was destroyed, I can summon a dark attribute spellcaster from my deck, like my last Dark Magician" Zed stated as the magician appeared "Also, I can destroy one card on the field, like your darkness dragon!" Zed yelled as the dragon was destroyed by a sudden wave of magic "Now that it's out of the way, Timaeus and Dark Magician have a clear path of attack, show him boys!" Zed shouted as the Magician and Dragon blasted Nightshroud, dropping his life points to 0 "Done" Zed said "That's my boy!" Adam yelled "Our boy" Alexis said "Yeah, you're right, that's our boy!" Adam said.
Nightshroud fell to his knees and screamed as he was surrounded by a pillar of lava, followed by Jaden, Zed, Adam and Alexis, and in a flash of light, they were all on the ground "We're alive" Syrus said "Good job, Zed, I know that anyone with my blood was a duelist down to the bones" Adam said "Got that right" Zed replied "That was sweet, I gotta duel you at some point" Jaden stated "Wait, look!" Zed said, pointing to Nightshroud passed out on the ground, the group walked over and removed his mask, he opened his eyes for a few seconds and looked at Alexis "Alexis..." he strained before passing out "It cant be" Alexis said.
"Hold on, we're coming!" Bastion yelled as he, Chazz and Zane ran in "What happened?" Chazz asked "Shadow Rider showed up" Syrus said "And my son kicked his ass, I'm so proud" Adam said, when Alexis slapped him, causing the group to fall silent "Hey, what the hell?!" Adam shouted, when he noticed tear is Alexis' eyes "Wait, what's wrong?" Adam asked "It's him, I though I lost him forever, but he's back" Alexis said "What are you talking about, who's back?" Zane asked "Look at him, it's my brother!" Alexis sobbed, everyone's eyes widened "Atticus?" Zane asked "Hold on, as in Uncle Atticus?" Zed asked "The card that was supposed to take his soul, it took away any darkness in him" Alexis said "So if this can happen when you win, imagine happens if you lose, the sun's coming up, but when night falls, we must be ready" Zane stated.
