Adam and the Chief stood across from each other with Jaden watching "Good luck Adam, we're all rooting for you" Banner stated "Adam!" Syrus called "Save us" Chumley said, Adam looked down at them and looked contemptibly at Alexis, she nodded and Adam bared his teeth and clenched his fists, he started shaking from his seething rage "I hope you're prepared, Chief, you'll burn severely for what you've done" Adam growled "You're empty threats do not effect me" the Chief replied "I set a card facedown, ending my turn" he said "Then Im up" Adam replied, drawing his card "I set two cards face down and summon Black Dragon's Chick, then send him to the grave to summon a Red-Eyes Black Dragon from my hand" Adam stated, the black dragon flew in and roared "Alright, your move" Adam stated.
The Chief drew his card "Grave Keeper's Spear Soldier!" He shouted as the monster appeared "Now I summon in attack mode, Grave Keeper's Guard, and with his effect I can return one of your monsters to your hand, and I choose your Red-Eyes Black Dragon!" The Chief shouted as the dragon vanished from the field and returned to Adam's hand "Dammit" he whispered "Now you are open to attack, I attack directly with Grave Keeper's Guard, Blazing Blade Strike!" The Chief yelled, the guard rushed over and slashed Adam with his spear, making him yell in pain as his life points fell to 3000 "What the hell? That actually hurt" Adam hissed, gripping his shoulder "Now my spear soldier will use his attack, Lunging Spear Assault!" The Chief said as the soldier charged and slashed Adam, dropping his life points to 1500 making him yell "Damn...this isn't just a game now, Im playing to live" Adam said "Yes, and so are they" the Chief said, as the coffins nearly closed.
"You got this Adam!" Jaden yelled "I better" Adam replied, drawing a card "Alright you bastard, let's play! I play Polymerization and fuse the Red-Eyes in my hand with Gearfried the Red-Eyes Iron Knight to summon, Red-Eyes Slash Dragon!" Adam yelled as the metallic dragon appeared "And with his effect, I can equip Gearfried to him from the graveyard and boost his attack to 3000" Adam stated, more armor appeared on the dragon as it grew bigger "Now then, have a taste of the burn I promised, Slash Dragon, attack that spear solder, Sharpened Searing!" Adam yelled, the dragon flew forward and cut the soldier in half, destroying the monster dropping the Chief's life points to 2500 "That's all for now" Adam said.
The Chief took his next card "I switch my Grave Keeper's Guard into defense mode, and set a monster in defense mode as well" he said "My go" Adam stated, he drew his card "I set a card, and Slash Dragon's gonna cut that guard to ribbons!" Adam shouted as the dragon destroyed the guard "Im done, get to your turn" Adam ordered. "I activate Pot of Greed, letting me draw two more cards" the Chief stated "I summon Grave Keeper's Assailant, followed by Grave Keeper's Curse, who's effect deals you 500 damage" the Chief said, Curse released a shrill noise that hurt Adam's head, dropping his life points to 1000 "Im getting really tired of this..." Adam hissed "Now, I cast Necrovalley!" The chief said as massive rocks formed around him, Adam and Jaden.
Adam looked around "With Necrovalley's power, all my grave keepers gain 500 attack and defense points, Adam looked down at the coffins, nearly closed "Come on Adam, you gotta save us!" Syrus yelled "Please..." Alexis said, that's when something struck Adam, he ground his teeth together and let out an enraged scream, fire surrounded him and the Chief, Adam's duel disk became black and his cards were held to it by teeth like formations, black scales formed on Adam's duel disk arm, followed by sharp claws "What's going on?" Jaden asked, Adam's eyes became red and started glowing, his enraged scream turned into a distorted, insane laugh, that's when the Chief's eyes widened "No...it cant be, these flames, that voice, and those eyes..." he said, the flames shot into the sky as a massive pillar "I warned you, you would burn!" Adam yelled "This is his new form..." the Chief said "What are you talking about?" Jaden asked "Your friend, he is...The Red-Eyed Demon" the Chief said as the flames opened, letting Adam stare into the Chief's soul.
