Adam, Zed and Alexis looked down at Atticus, still unconscious in bed "This is your brother?" Adam asked "Yes, I...I thought I lost him" Alexis sobbed, Adam wrapped his arms around her "Have hope Alexis, he'll be fine" Adam stated, Zed stood with concern and confusion on his face "Uncle Atticus..." he whispered "No need to worry, he's in stable condition" The nurse said "Good...Thanks Ms. Fontaine" Zed replied. "Vampire?!" Chazz asked "Im afraid the rumors might be true" Shepard stated "Please, it's a practical joke!" Crowler yelled "A joke?" Bastion asked "It's not that hard to believe, Zed's a time traveler and Im a demon" Adam stated "Do you think she's a shadow rider?" Zane asked "Perhaps, so be on the lookout for anything strange." Shepard replied.
Adam stood in his room with Zed "If this vampire thing is true, we need to prepare like hell" Adam said "Yeah...but it is a lady" Zed replied "Zed..." Adam said "What? She might be kinda cute" Zed replied "And what if she is? Do you really think she'll fall for a human?" Adam asked "Maybe not, but Im half demon thanks to you" Zed stated, Adam's eyes widened "Give me the damn key" he ordered, Zed chuckled and tossed his spirit key to Adam "I know one thing, if that blood sucking bitch thinks of harming my family, I'll burn her worse than the sun ever could" Adam growled.
A couple hours later
"Good news, Chancellor, I searched the whole campus, and there's no-" Chazz was cut off "Vampire!" Chumley yelled, running into the room "At the lake!" He yelled. The group arrived at the lake as a red carpet rolled over the water "The hell..?" Adam asked "I think she's expecting us" Bastion said, Crowler suddenly leaped in front of the group "Wow, you're so brave" Chumley said "We'll be right behind you" Bastion stated "By a good ten feet" Banner said "I got an idea let's draw straws to see who goes, now where can-" Adam cut Crowler off "Move along!" He yelled, lighting on fire "Alright..." Crowler replied "I'll tell Syrus" Chumely said, running off "Let's get this over with" Zed whispered.
"Crowler, what's the hold up?" Chazz asked "You go first if you're in such a hurry!" Crowler yelled, a sudden gust of wind blew past the group "Gentlemen, I'll just come to you" a voice said from a boat as a figure stepped onto the carpet, they walked forward, revealing a vampire woman with green hair "So this is the one everyone's whispering about" Adam said, the woman stopped and looked at Crowler "Who might you be?" She asked "I'm your challenger" Crowler answered "You are not worthy" the woman said "I beg your pardon?! I have a PHD in dueling! That takes nine years in duel school you know!" Crowler yelled "Fine, if you're so anxious to lose your key, you may duel me, Camula, Vampire mistress of the shadow riders" she stated "Hey, Im Zed" he replied, Adam looked Zed in his eyes "You cant be serious" he hissed "I said she could be cute, you can't tell me I was wrong" Zed said, Camula blushed lightly "What would Alexis think..?" Adam groaned.
Crowler huffed "Rubber bats and plastic teeth, your tricks don't scare me" he stated "Well this might, if you lose this doll gets your soul" Camula stated "You plan to take his soul and his key?" Bastion asked "Forget it!" Chazz snapped "Is that all? Want anything for your mummy? Or perhaps a chew toy for your pet werewolf?" Crowler taunted "No need to be rude" Zed whispered "Zed, son, I know you like the lady, but she plans to take Crowler's soul and help release world ending monsters, now isn't the time to be infatuated" Adam replied "Be careful what you wish for, it may just come true. Now key keeper let's duel!" Camula yelled.
