"Alexis?!" Adam yelled "Yep" Zed answered "B-But that cant be right, Im not gonna have a kid with Alexis, Im not in love with her, her glistening eyes, her gorgeous blonde hair, her beautiful, soothing voice..." Adam gushed, Zed raised and eyebrow, Adam blushed "Never mind! The point is, you're a liar, you have to be!" Adam shouted, Zed pointed at his streak "Who do you think I get this blond bit of my hair from?" He asked "That could be anyone's!" Adam snapped "You can deny it all you want, Im living proof that it carries no weight" Zed said, Adam sighed in defeat "Im really that obvious?" He asked "Yeah" Zed answered.
Adam looked at Zed "Does Alexis know about you?" He asked "No, I only told you" Zed stated "So I win Alexis' heart, how?" Adam asked "I don't know that, you never told me how to two got together" Zed said "So you're no help there" Adam replied "Unfortunately" Zed stated, Adam started pacing his room "I cant believe it, my son's a time traveller, and Alexis is his mother, holy hell" Adam repeated "Dad, focus!" Zed yelled, Adam stopped "Right...right, I gotta think, I know what to do, Im gonna invite Alexis somewhere with me" Adam stated "So you're gonna ask her on a date?" Zed asked "Y-yeah" Adam stated "I would wish you luck, but you clearly don't need it" Zed stated "Right" Adam replied, Zed smiled before he vanished.
The next morning
Adam scoped the campus, looking for Alexis "Come on, I know her face, how hard is it to find her?" Adam asked "Who?" Jaden asked, making Adam jump "Where the hell did you come from?!" Adam asked "I was just strolling by and saw you stressing out" Jaden said "Im looking...for Alexis" Adam said "Oh, she's out in the flower field" Jaden said, Adam ran past him "Thanks, Jaden!" He yelled "No problem!" Jaden yelled back.
Adam ran until he found a field of flowers, and Alexis sitting on the edge of it on a bench, a smile on her face, Adam took a breath ("I got this, I got this, I don't got this, I do not got this, but I have to go through with it, if I don't Zed wont exist, let's go") he thought. "This is a nice place, isn't it?" Adam asked, Alexis turned and saw him approach "Yeah it is" she said "Mind if I sit next to you?" Adam asked, Alexis scooted over a bit to make room for Adam, and he sat down "Did you come here to relax?" Alexis asked "Yeah" Adam half lied, the two looked at the flowers.
"Adam..." Alexis said "Yeah?" Adam asked "Why did you come to duel academy?" Alexis asked "No idea, I was told this where people go to become great duelists, so here I am" Adam stated, Alexis giggled "Fair enough" she said "What about you?" Adam asked "I'll share that with you some other time" Alexis said "Oh come on, I told you" Adam snapped, Alexis laughed "Hey, I got a question of my own" Adam said "What is it?" Alexis replied, Adam blushed deeply "W-would you..." Adam didn't finish "Would I what?" Alexis asked, Adam gritted his teeth "Adam, what is it?" Alexis asked, Adam gripped Alexis' hands "Will you go out with me?!" Adam yelled.
Silence fell, only the slight breeze could be heard "What?" Alexis asked "Will you..go out...with me?Like...be my girlfriend" Adam said, neither spoke for what felt like forever "I-if you want me to" Alexis mumbled, her face growing red "What?" Adam asked "If you want me to, then we can start dating" Alexis said, they both sat there, blushing furiously, when they both started laughing "We're like red eyes" Adam said, Alexis looked him in his eyes, when Adam brought Alexis' hands down to the bench and they leaned into each other until their lips met.
Adam returned to his dorm, jumping up and down with excitement "I did it, I actually did it, I got a girlfriend!" Zed appeared "I assume it went well?" He chuckled "Hell yeah, you're set in stone" Adam stated "I'll tell mom everything went well" Zed said "Zed" Adam said "Yeah, dad?" Zed replied "Thanks, if you didn't show up, I'd never work up the confidence to ask Alexis to be my girlfriend" Adam stated "No problem, if you didn't I couldn't exist, so I didn't have a choice" Zed replied before vanishing, Adam fell onto his bed and sighed "Time for a nap" He said, smiling.
