"I summon Picador Fiend, then place one face down and end my turn" Titan stated, Zed drew his card "But your suffering's only begun. I set a card facedown and activate Maginians' Souls effect, letting me send Dark Magician to the grave from my deck, but when I send Magician's Souls to the graveyard, it takes Dark Magician's place, and I can summon his to the field!" Zed stated as Dark Magician rose to the field "You talk about the shadows a lot, so how does it feel to be cast in Dark Magician's?" Zed taunted "It's true, your magician's attack points far exceed my fiend's" Titan said "I know, but just to be safe, I activate Dark Magic Attack, to destroy that facedown card of yours" Zed stated as Dark Magican blasted the card away "No!" Titan shouted "Now that the first Dark Magic Attack destroyed your card, you can take this second one safely up your ass!" Zed shouted as his magical blasted away Titan's monster, dropping his life points to 3100.
"There you go, Zed" Adam said "He's winning" Syrus stated "So are you just gonna stand there? Or are we gonna keep going? Maybe you've given up, honestly your safest option" Zed taunted "Yeah, that's your son alright" Chazz said "The hell are you trying to say?" Adam growled "N-Nothing" Chazz replied "Thought so" Adam hissed. Titan smiled "You know this reminds me of my first encounter with your mother. She was my bait back then, and now she's led me to you" Titan said "Don't you dare talk about her, you bastard!" Adam and Zed shouted "Oh I'm sorry, but it seems that you're my target now, so I'll treat you as such. I activate Ritual of the Matador, and sacfrifixe summoned skull to summon Matador Fiend" Titan stated as the monster appeared on the field "Zero points? What's the catch?" Zed asked "You'll have to keep a look out for it, but it'll be difficult for you once I play Dark Arena!" Titan shouted, as the field was suddenly shrouded in darkness "What the hell?" Zed whispered, he looked over and noticed that Titan's side of the field was blocked by the darkness "I can't see a damn thing" Zed hissed "Your move" Titan laughed.
"What happened?" Zane asked "I can't see anything" Syrus said "Someone should go in there. Someone other than me of course" Crowler said "Zed..." Alexis whispered "He's got this, if anyone can win for our sakes, it's our son" Adam stated, Alexis smiled "You're right. I just need faith in him. I know he can beat that bastard" she said, everyone turned to Alexis "Did, you just..?" Adam asked, Alexis wind red "Uh...I guess so" she replied, Adam pulled her up and kissed her deeply. Zed clenched his fist ("I can't see, what's the deal?") he thought "The darkness is fitting for a Shadow Duel, but I'll shed some light on the situation. In this darkness your monsters must attack, but since they can't see, I decide their target" Titan explained "It doesn't matter what's hit with the power Dark Magician packs. Blast him!" Zed shouted as Dark Magician died magic into the darkness "Go Matador Fiend" Titan ordered, the blast struck the fiend directly, but as the attack connected, a beam shot from the fiend's head, piercing and destroying Dark Magician "Hey, what the hell? Your fiend should have been destroyed!" Zed shouted "You didn't know, Matador fiend can't be destroyed in battle and doesn't take battle damage, but any monster that attacks it is destroyed" Titan explained "Damn it..." Zed hissed "And now that you're open, Picador Fiedn can attack you directly!" Titan shouted, as a green blast hit Zed, dropping his life points to 2400.
The dark field started to spark "Zed!" Adam shouted "I hope he's okay" Jaden said. "Don't worry, at least your precious Uncle won't remember you failing him" Titan taunted "Stop talking about my family" Zed hissed "But your family will be consumed by the shadows like I was, only it won't make them as powerful!" Titan shouted, as his veins started to pop out, Zed grit his teeth "Power, huh? That's all you talk about. Power and shadows, but I have more than enough of both, my dad's a demon, so I'm no stranger to power or darkness, but he's better than them both, and so am I!" Zed shouted "If you're done with your little speech, I summon Banderillero Fiend!" Titan shouted ("Damn, I'm outnumbered, and out powered, if I don't pull a power move, it's over") Zed thought "Zed! I know you can hear me!" Adam shouted.
"I don't know what's happening in there, but I do know one thing, that you have what it takes to pull throught. You're my son, that alone should prove to everyone including yourself that you can overcome anything that's in your way! You're dueling for me, Alexis, your Uncle and your girlfriend, so don't you dare give in"Adam shouted "You heard him, my dear. Win for us!" Camula shouted. Zed stood up, a smile on his face "You hear that? You threaten my family, and they bite back for me and themselves twice as hard. That's love, love for Camula, Mom and Dad, Uncle Atticus. The same love that'll get me through this duel and take you down" Zed stated "Enough, make your final move!" Titan snapped, Zed drew his card "It will be my final move, but this'll be your final duel. I activate Red-Eyes Fusion!" Zed shouted.
"What? But you've used Dark Magician cards this whole duel" Titan said "Then let me educate you! Red-Eyes Fusion lets me fusion summon and Red-Eys Fusion monster by using monsters from my deck, hand or field as material, and I only have and need one. I sacrifice Dark Magician and Red-Eyes Black Dragon to summon Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon!" Zed shouted as the monster appeared "So what if it's strong, it still can't attack properly with the Dark Arena up" Titan stated "It doesn't need to, not yet anyway, because Dragoon can destroy one monster for each normal monster used at material for it's summon, and since Dark Magican and Red-Eyes are both normal, your Matador and Banderillero Fiend are going to the shadows you love got talk about!" Zed shouted as Dragoon blasted them away "On top of that, you take 1000 damage for each monster destroyed like that" Zed stated as the blast from his monsters destruction dropped his lif points to 1900 "Now that you're out of defenses, I don't need to see to know that the only target left to attack is you" Zed hissed "No! This can't be!" Titan shouted "Yes it can. Now, Dark Dragoon, end this duel. Dark Dragon Flash!" Zed shouted, as Dragoon aimed his staff at Titan before releasing a wave of dragon shaped magic, blasting Titan's life points to zero "That's for my family, especially Mom and Uncle Atticus" Zed stated.
The Dark Arena cleared as Titan fell back as shadowy creatures approached him "No, no not again!" He shouted, the creatures filled enveloped his as he screamed, begging dragged back into the shadows, leaving only his mask behind.
The group stood outside of the abandoned dorm as the sun rose "Atticus" Alexis said "Lexi" Atticus replied, the two shared a hug "Atty, welcome back" Alexis said "Thanks Lex, for everything" Atticus said, he turned to Zed "Thank you too" he said "Yeah, anyway, I'm Zed, I'm your nephew from the future, it's a long story" he said "But wait, there re a bunch of unanswered questions, like why you ended up in the shadow realm" Alexis said "One day, a bunch of us were told to meet at the abandoned dorm, that's when it happened. There was supposed to be an duel test, but there were hundreds of shadow fiends. I couldn't escape. I was kept in the shadow realm and brainwashed for months, that's how I became Nightshroud" Atticus explained "But who was it that brainwashed you?" Alexis asked "I never did figure that out, but the person that called me to take the duel test was Professor Banner" Atticus stated, everyone gasped "Our Professor Banner?" Jaden asked.
