Adam couldn't get any sleep, so he sat in his room revising his deck, Adam walked up to his window, trying to use moonlight to get a better view of his cards, when he saw something moving, Adam narrowed his eyes and saw Syrus walking of Obelisk Blue grounds "What's he doing over here?" Adam asked, Adam put his clothes and in and grabbed his cards, before going down to find Syrus. Adam walked out under the cover of night, looking for Syrus, when he noticed the lock on the girl's dorm gate was broken "Son of a bitch" Adam whispered, tying his scarf over his eyes.
"Syrus you colossal dumbass, what the hell are you doing out here?!" Adam yelled as quietly as possible "Adam?" "What's he doing here?" A voice asked, one Adam identified as Syrus' and an other he didn't know "Syrus, why are you over here?!" Adam yelled "I got a fake love letter" Syrus answered, with a sad tone "You can take that off your face" a voice said "Is it safe, Syrus?" Adam asked "Yeah" Syrus replied, Adam lowered his scarf and saw Alexis with two other girls "Adam, what are you doing over here?" Syrus asked "I saw you sneaking onto blue grounds and knew something was up, turns out I was right" Adam stated "You came to check on me?" Syrus replied "More so keep you from getting expelled and arrested, but basically yeah" Adam answered, Syrus smiled "Thanks" he said.
Adam looked at Alexis "You know what happened, or stabbed Syrus with a lead love arrow?" He asked "No, but whether we know or not, you coming to help out Syrus counts as trespassing" Alexis answered "Seriously, I came here blindfolded, and you're still gonna put that crap on me?!" Adam snapped "Thats right, and If you want to be let off the hook, you'll have to beat me in a duel" Alexis stated, Adam's eyes widened and he smiled "Why didn't you lead with that?" He asked, the girls and Syrus were taken aback by his reaction "Is that a yes?" Alexis asked "You bet your ass it is" Adam answered, fire in his eyes "Hold on" a voice said, Everyone turned and saw Jaden standing behind Adam "What are you doing here?" Adam asked "I noticed that Syrus was missing, I was gonna come save him myself, but getting to see you duel again, will fit the bill" Jaden said "You willing to let Jaden free too when I win?" Adam asked "If you win, then yes" Alexis answered "Good" Adam replied.
The two stood across from each other on boats in the lake "Ready" Alexis asked "Damn straight" Adam replied "Duel!" They shouted "Etoile Cyber, rise!" Alexis shouted as the monster formed over the water "And I'll set a card facedown" she said "My go!" Adam said drawing his card "I set two cards facedown, and summon Gearfried the Red-Eyes Iron Knight in attack mode!" He shouted, the knight formed on the field and stared daggers at Alexis and her monster "Now, attack, cut that Etoile Cyber down!" Adam ordered, the knight charged at the feminine monster.
Alexis grit her teeth "Hold it, I activate Doble Passe" she stated, Gearfried jumped over the monster and struck Alexis, dripping her life points to 2200 "Hold up, what?" Adam replied "When that card activates, your monster directly attacks me, and now my monster can directly attack you! Not only that but Etoile Cyber's attack increases by 600 when she attacks directly" Alexis stated, Adam grinned "That's be a problem, if it wasn't for my trap!" He said "Huh?" Alexis replied "I activate Draining Shield, so instead of taking damage from a monster attack, I heal from it!" Adam said, his life points increasing to 5800 "Hey, I got that card too" Jaden said "Comes in clutch, doesn't it? But back to you, Lexi, thanks for the extra life points, I'll be sure to pay you back" Adam hissed, grinning.
Alexis clenched her fist and drew her next card "I summon Blade Skater" she stated, as the monster appeared "And I activate, Polymerization to fuse Etoile Cyber and Blade Skater, to summon Cyber Blader!" Alexis shouted ("Dammit, it's stronger than Gearfried!") Adam thought "Now, attack Adam's Iron Knight, Whirlwind Rage" Alexis ordered, as her monster spun at high speed and slashed Gearfried, destroying him, dealing 300 damage to Adam "Oh no" Syrus said "Don't give up Adam!" Jaden shouted "I don't plan to" Adam replied "Way to go Alexis" "You've got him now" the two other girls said. Alexis smiled, but Adam started chuckling "What's so funny?" Alexis asked "Im just surprised thats all, you know what you're doing" Adam answered "Got that right" Alexis replied "This is just the late night rush I needed, this duel is far from over, so as a certain lion once said 'Be prepared!'" Adam yelled.
