In Kpop dictionary, it means a kpop group coming back with new music. It's equivalent of saying a group is releasing a new album. We just had our first comeback this year with our second mini album Inner Child.

Consisting 4 tracks, and it was already being praised by netizens on how upbeat the song was. Saying that it will be a perfect summer party song knowing that summer was around the corner. As expected from the fans, our songs quickly hit the music show, collecting awards left and right.

'Fire' was an instant hit. Hitting a million views on youtube in less than 30 minutes. It even broke our last record of 25 million to 31 million views in one day. What I did not expect was the third track 'Can we just leave the Monster alive?' became a massive hit.

[789, -011] I did not expect this kind of song was in this album.

[915, -197] This song replicates exactly what our childhood is. The 'monster' is our childhood. Instead of defeating it, let's keep it alive. The message was to not throw away our childhood.

Today was June 19, 2022 three weeks after the release of our second album. We're currently at Inkigayo to receive yet another award. Making it our 7th win. Babylon Garden also reached a milestone where our albums had reached a million album sales. 

Our second album had broke our first album record. Inner Child was sold at a staggering 901.6k copies on its first day before reaching the 1 million milestone the day after. On its first week, we managed to rack a total of 1.59 million album sales. 

We had officially joined the 1 million album sales club in the span of less than a year. I'm grateful to our group and fans for the growth. We can only work harder now to reach new heights. Seventeen also made a comeback last month and it broke the record for the highest album sales in the first day. 

Aespa on the other hand, will have their comeback later in July. Minjeong had been teasing us that the album was good. I can't wait to hear her voice. IVE also made a single album last April with the track 'Love Dive' and 'Royal'.

MC: Congratulations to Babylon Garden on your win!

The MC gave the trophy to Tobio as he held it close to his heart. I smiled, even when we already won by a mile. He still kept every trophy as it was our first. Today it was Jaewoo's turn to give a thank you speech. Taking the mic, he bowed to the crowd and other idols before giving his congratulation speech.

What I did not expect was the prank him and all the other members had in store for me.

Jaewoo: And also today is father's day but there's someone's birthday between our members.

I raised my eyebrows, thinking who's birthday was it today. As I remember, none of us were born today. Then it finally kicked in. Since they were talking about father's day, they're talking about me.

My eyes went wide before turning towards my smirking members as I tried to stop them yet it was futile.

Jaewoo: Killian hyung! Happy birthday!!

I quickly turned to the camera making the 'X' sign but yet again was ignored as my members took the mic and wished me a happy birthday.
