Act 2 | Year 2022: Welcome on board MC Killian!

Aespa had finally made a comeback with their second mini album 'Girls'. The album managed to gain massive popularity with their first day sales reaching up to 806.8k sales and the album reached a height of 1.12 million sales in their first week making them the next group to reach the million album sales club.

Me: Ever-evolving  kpop! The heart of the Korean wave!

Yujin: With the world watching,

Wonyoung: It's Inkigayo live!

I smiled to the camera alongside my partners as we stood in the middle of the stage. Today marks the day that I will officially be Inkigayo's MC. Funny enough, the first group that I will be interviewing will be Aespa. I never told Minjeong anything about and it will be funny seeing her reaction.

Wonyoung: Hello bank patrons! Appointed as Inkigayo's 36th MCs, I'm Wonyoung from IVE!

Yujin: I'm Yujin from IVE as well!

Me: And I'm Killian of Babylon Garden! Since we're so excited, let's give a big hand!

The three of smiled while clapping to the camera as we followed what we had practiced.

Yujin: It's our first day on Inkigayo, and we will finish the stage with a special performance! How do you feel Killian-ssi knowing that your song will be used?

Me: Ah! Since it's my first time preparing as an MC, I was extremely nervous. But I'm pretty sure that it'll turn out great!

Wonyoung: It'll be a great experience that we will be able to perform for the bank patrons as official MCs. So please give lots of love to us!

Yujin: Shall we introduce the lineup for the first time?

Wonyoung: Yes! Lee Hi is back with deeper charms and 1THE9 is back flashier than ever!

Me: The next on the list will be Aespa who will be having their comeback stage with 'Girls'! And last but least, our special stage at the end, so please give us lots of love!

After we finished the first segment, we were then tasked to laid back at the breakroom, while the artist performed on stage. It was a bit awkward, especially for me who doesn't really smile a lot and act 'cute' in front of the camera. 

That was my members job.

We passed by the artists that will be performing today on stage, bowing at them knowing that we will be interviewing them right after they performed. I managed to steal a glimpse at Minjeong whose jaw was dropped the moment she saw me in the MC outfit.

The other member of Aespa were shell shock as well to see me. Waving at them before I winked secretly so that only Minjeong was able to see it. I swear her pout must be the cutest thing in the world.

Wonyoung: Oppa, can we practiced our script and performance together?

Me: Yeah sure.

Getting to the mirror, the three of us took positions before practicing like we did back at their agency. There are jokes to lighten the mood and I can hear my members and Minjeong making fun of the 'emotionless' Killian.

It's true that I rarely smiles and make jokes. So seeing me doing the things that I never do will surely make for them tease me till I die. (We will hyung, don't worry.) Our performance will be at the end of the segment and the three of us decided to use my song 'Fire'.

Even based from our outfit, we tried our best to coordinate with each other. Wearing black ripped jeans with Hawaiian shirts. Paired it with black sneakers, we got ourselve Babylon Garden 2.0.
