Act 9 | Year 2029: Idol Star Athletics Championships

Idol Star Athletics Championships.

Fun fact, Babylon Garden had never participate in the popular reality show. Not even once. When we debut 8 years ago, we had an invitation but we decided to not go due to clash with our schedule. But now, it was the only year that we can finally enjoy it.

This year's event is different. Instead of an indoor stadium that they usually do, this time they booked the olympic stadium in Seoul. Yes, the official Stadium they used in the Olympics. Because this time, they opened it to the public for the fans to watch.

The purpose for this years event was to collect some funds to give it to charity. It's an idea that our CEO pitched in to give some good PR. Seeing that everyone was on board, the organizer managed to get it on.

This year's event will be participated only by the big four companies: HYBE Labels, SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment and JYP Entertainment. Kinda like sports day type of event. Team Blue, Team Red, Team Green and Team Yellow. Yet, this time it's the artists under the company instead of their group.

It's late March, the start of Spring. Flowers are starting to bloom meaning the weather is nice to go out. Thus, doing an activity outside will be comfortable. Not in the cold winter nor the hot summer.

The events that will be played are:

1) 100m race (Male/Female)

2) 4x100m race (Male/Female) (Group)

3) 400m race (Male/Female)

4) 4x400m race (Male/Female) (Group)

5) High jump (Male)

6) Long jump (Male)

7) Archery (Female)

8) Rhythmic Gymnastics (Female)

9) Tug of War (Male/Female) (Group)

We received a full house audience as we entered the arena. I looked around to see everything was set in place. The track was clean and pristine. At the middle of the arena, the area for Archery, Rhythmic Gymnastics and High Jump was in place. The Long Jump was at the far side where the sand had been collected.

Emcee: WELCOME TO THE ANNUAL IDOL STAR ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!! 

I can hear the audience roared in cheers as every idol came into scene. It felt like a final being played while it's just for entertainment purposes. I turned around to see our audience all dressed in black before waving with their light sticks of the groups under HYBE.

We divide the stadium into four corners giving equal seats to all supporters. HYBE is Team Black, SM is Team Red, JYP is Team Blue and YG is Team Yellow. Even us the participants are only allowed to wear the designated coloured shirts for team spirit purposes.

As the chosen Team Leader of the whole company, we all gathered to finalize the participants for each event. We already choose based on our strengths on who's going to play which sport.

Because the rule was a person can only play 1 single and 1 group event that did not clash with any of their other events. Addition to that, each team need to send two participants/groups at each event.

Example would be, a 100m has 8 tracks. Since there's 4 teams, each team need to send 2 people to fill in all 8 spots. The same goes for other events except for the group events. And to HYBE's luck, all of Babylon Garden members covered most of the sports.
