Act 7 | Year 2027: A new beginning

February 2027,

As people say, new year new me. Or even new resolutions. Yet I swear 99% of people even forgot it exist in the first place. For me, I don't really put up resolutions since I don't have any specific targets to achieve. It just comes down naturally.

But, a new thing recently happened to me, particularly we managed to rent a big space for our new building. PLEDIS Entertainment had recently rebrand itself to HYBE Labels. In the span of one month, we managed to get it working with the help of the staff and other labels that the company had bought.

It was definitely a huge improvement from what we had before. The old PLEDIS building was now renovated and planned to become HYBE main merchandise store. Merchandise ranging from all the artists will be put on sale there, therefore it can become a source of side income.

HYBE Labels had officially entered the big entertainment companies. Before it was the Big 3, now it became the Big 4. HYBE is currently at 2nd just behind SM Entertainment followed by YG and JYP Entertainment companies.

A lot of investors had been investing into HYBE Labels seeing how the projected growth of the company was rising exponentially and within months I dare say, we can overtake SM to become the largest entertainment industry.

With more artists coming inside the company, the projected revenue is expected to grow. Other than the kpop groups, we have started to receive solo idols and even actors/actresses. My uncle have switched to HYBE Labels after leaving Starship Entertainment following the expiration of their contracts.

Kim Minju, Jo Yuri also joined the company earlier this months after several contract talks with the officials. Other than that, what people did not know was that SEVENTEEN was supposed to debut with seventeen members, but for reasons the rest four members decided to leave leaving the now 13 members.

As one of the head that spearhead the operation, I decided to reunite them back as friends under the same label. Kim Samuel, Shin Dongjin and Jang Doyoon are now contracted under HYBE Labels. Only Yao Mingming stayed in China since he was already under his own boy group.

Baekho, Hwang Min Hyun and Nana also joined in this month. Now, HYBE Labels had been transformed 180 in the span of a few months. A company that is feared in the entertainment industry.

I blinked from the work that I was currently working. I am in the cafeteria after having lunch, before opening my laptop to finish up some of the samples for our upcoming album. This will be the first album in kpop history to be in fully english.

Since it was the weekend, I was not expecting for anyone to be at the new cafeteria of the new building. I came here solely to get the peace and quiet. I turned around before smiling at the newcomer.
