New year had passed a month ago ever since the year had started. It's already been a total 7 years since I debuted as a kpop idol. And within the 7 years, we've achieved many, many awards ranging from daesangs, BBMAs and even to Grammys.

In total, Babylon Garden racked a total of 47 daesang awards, 5 BBMAs awards, 4 AMA awards and 1 Grammy awards. Currently, we're the most awarded kpop group in history and by a large margin.

The second and third highest in line was SEVENTEEN and Aespa winning 25 and 19 daesangs respectively. They said, nowadays it's more of a popularity award and I do agree. I love my fans a lot, but due to our big fanbase, we won basically everything we touched.

That's why we were given the name 'Midas Touch'. The group that turned everything into gold.

But not all hope were lost, other groups are still winning daesangs. Empress just received their third daesang award for 'Stage of The Year' at the Asia Artist Award a month ago. In total, they already received three daesangs for a period of two years, making them the only group from the fifth gen to win such prestigious awards.

And they're only going higher and higher from now on. SEVENTEEN sunbaenim had already gone to separate ways, focusing more on their solo endorsements rather than a group. They already went way passed the point of being a group and now they want to focus on going their solo careers.

Catsby: Meow ~?

Me: What? You already had your fill.

I glared at my cat giving me the 'are you serious' look at me when I did not gave him enough treat. Catsby was a stray cat that I found outside our old dorm and decided to bring him in. And he's been freeloading this house ever since. Thank goodness he's cute.

Today's schedule was of me and my siblings going to visit Liz university's festival. Liz was 22 years old this year, meaning this was her third year for her degree in becoming a doctor. I realized that my siblings were getting older just like me.

It was like yesterday that I picked her from her high school alongside Eunchae and Kyujin and now the three of them are successful in their careers. Picking Amy from her dorm, I looked at her with pride. This was the little girl that wanted me to audition under PLEDIS and now she's working under them as well.

From fangirling Joshua hyung, and now working with him. One of her dream was to have a song with him and she reached her dream with their last album where the pair created a song together.

Amy: To see unnie like this is so weird.

Me: Now you understand how I felt picking you guys up when you guys were still in school.

She rolled my eyes at my sarcastic jab. Looking at our career path right now, I can say that our futures are bright. I'm 27 and living a good idol life. Liz at 22 is becoming a doctor. Amy at 20 and rising the stairs of becoming the next big kpop star and the youngest Diane is 18 just graduated from high school and pursuing a business degree.

Mom managed to see all of her children pursuing a good life ahead and to see how proud she was, was our end goal. She's already 51, the least we can do was to support her until her dying breath. She deserved the world for whatever she sacrificed for us.

Liz: Oppa, Amy you guys are here! Please do not ever embarrass me in front of my friends!
