I could just kiss you!

After we finished eating, everyone headed off. Except for Natasha, Bucky and I.
„We'll meet in the gym in 10 minutes." she says.
„Anything we need to bring?" Bucky asks.
„Y/N needs the suit and you just some to train." Nat answers as we walk to the lifts.
The doors open.
„You'll do great." she says.
I slightly look at Bucky.
„Yeah."
We walk out to our rooms.
I step in and put on my suit.
As I step out, I get invisible.
Bucky also walks out of his room to the lift.
I see him and try not to breath too loud.
He presses the button and waits for the lift.
I have to stop myself from laughing as the doors open and we both walk inside.
It's still very impressive that the silent soles work so well.
The doors open and Bucky walks out of the lift to the gym. I walk right next to him.
He really doesn't notice me.
Tony did a great job, making this suit.
Bucky opens the door to the gym, I quickly go through it after him.
„Where's Y/N?" Natasha asks.
„I don't know, I didn't see her." he answers.
I grin.
‚This is hilarious.' I think to myself.
„I'm sure she'll come soon." he says.
„I sure hope she doe-."
„Boo!"
I get visible.
„-AHHHH!!"
They both startle.
I laugh loudly.
„No way this worked!" I say.
Natasha hits the back of my head after calming down.
„Not funny."
„It's hilarious!"
„Yeah, whatever."
I look at Bucky.
„I can't believe I could scare you." I say.
„Neither did I, but here we are."
„Anyways, let's begin." Natasha says and rolls her eyes. „As Y/N just demostrated, her suit works, which is definitely important for the mission. But you said that you two found something out, right?"
Bucky looks at me.
„Yes, but I don't wanna demonstrate that cause we didn't found out how to control it, namely I can walk on the wall and the ceiling." I say.
„Wait really?"
„Yes." Bucky says and nods.
„Wow and it really worked?"
„Well I helped, so she wouldn't fall from the wall, but as she stepped on the ceiling I couldn't do anything and some moments later she fell." He explains.
„But he caught me. I felt like a little vibration under my feet and then I fell. I need to talk to Tony about it." I say.
„Okay, well that's useful. We're definitely gonna use it somehow." Natasha says. „We don't have a plan yet, Steve and I gotta think of something, but he told me that you too need to learn how to dance to get closer to the enemies."
I look at Bucky.
„Dance? What kind of dance?" I ask.
„Well it's a ball, so you two are gonna dance waltz." she responds.
„Waltz?"
„Oh I like this one." Bucky says.
„I can't dance!"
„It's not that hard to learn." Natasha says.
„Wait, how long do I have to learn it?" I ask.
„Two weeks."
„Two weeks?!"
„It's gonna be alright, don't worry."
I sigh.
„Okay, I'm just trying my best. How do we begin?"
„Face eachother." Natasha says.
We do as she says.
Bucky takes my hand and puts his on my waist. I put mine on his back.
„Is it like this?" he asks.
„Wait.."
Natasha adjusts some things.
„Like this, perfect." she says. „Okay, now you need to.."
Natasha explained the whole dance to us, even tho Bucky already knows it. But we did it, step by step. It didn't work very well, I often stepped on his foot and even hit him one time.

After one and a half hour Natasha says:
„Okay, I think we've done enough today".
„This is way harder than fighting." I say.
Bucky chuckles.
„Okay, I'll talk to Steve about your new ability and a plan. And you're gonna call Tony to ask about the suit." she says.
„Isn't he in the lab today?" I ask.
„Maybe."
„I'll talk to him."
„But you two did a good job." Natasha says and smiles at us.
I smile slightly.
Her phone rings.
„Oh, I'm sorry, I'll see you around."
She says and heads off.
Bucky looks at me.
„You did pretty good." he says. „For the first time dancing."
„Thanks, it's difficult but somehow also fun."
„Dancing is always fun."
„By the way, how are you so good at it?" I ask.
„Oh well, the 40s were my best times, you know? Let's just say.. I was a ladies man." he says with a wink.
„Oh please.." I say and chuckle.
„Don't believe me?"
„Not really."
He smirks, stands in front of me and holds out his hand for me as he bends a little.
„May I share this dance with you?" he asks.
„You're not serious right now."
„I am."
Bucky takes my hand and pulls me to him.
„You can ask Steve, he can assure you."
I roll my eyes.
„Okay, show me, ladies man."
He puts his hand in mine and starts to dance with me, he's leading.
I'm impressed, he really is a good dancer.
We dance along.
„Believe me now?" he asks and looks at me.
„I do." I answer and look at him. „But I'm still gonna ask Steve about it."
He twirls me around.
„Woah!"
I laugh softly.
Bucky smiles and let's go of my hands as I stand.
„It was a nice dance." he says.
„It really was." I respond and look at him. „Shall we go now?"
He nods and we walk to the lifts.
As we step in I press the button to the lab, he to our floor.
„You're gonna see Tony?" he asks and looks at me.
The doors close.
„Yeah, gonna ask about that. Would you mind helping me again, when I know how to control it?"
„Sure."
Bucky smiles slightly at me.
I nod.
The doors open.
„I'll see you later." I say and step out.
„Bye."

I'm walking into the lab.
„Tony?" I ask.
I hear some metal parts fall onto the floor.
„Yeah?"
It's Bruce coming from there.
„Oh, Y/N, right?" he asks and walks up to me.
„Yes."
„Nice to see you, what do you need?" he asks.
„Is Tony here?"
„Soon, he's in a call with Pepper, they've been on the phone for a while."
„Who's Pepper?" I ask.
„His wife."
„Oh, okay, well maybe you can help me too."
„What is it?"
„I found out that I can walk on the wall and ceiling with my suit." I explain. „But I don't know how to control it."
„The wall and the ceiling?"
I nod.
„Wow, okay.. well Tony mainly made the suit, he only asked me to help him with some things.. but, wait a second."
Bruce walks over to a holographic monitor and opens a file.
„Ah, got it. Come here." he says.
I walk up to him and look at the screen.
„Here." he zooms to the feet. „There are vibrating parts."
„Yes! It vibrated before I fell."
„You fell?!"
„Yeah."
„Were you hurt?"
„No, no, don't worry. I got caught."
„Good, that's good."
He types on the screen, trying to find something.
Meanwhile Tony walked back into the lab.
„Y/N!"
We turn around.
„What brings you to me and my lab-bro?" he asks and walks up to us.
Bruce shakes his head.
„Did you make a feature that I can walk on walls and ceilings?" I ask.
„Did it work well?"
„Well, if you'd told me how to do it, maybe, but yes, it worked."
„Great!"
„How do I control it?" I ask.
„May I?"
Bruce steps aside and Tony points at the feet on the hologram.
„There are vibrating parts in your sols."
„I've noticed."
„Well you just need to tap the floor with your single toe and you'll feel a vibration. With it you can go anywhere, on any surface, also the walls and ceilings." he explains. „To turn it of, you do it again, you've got 10 seconds to go on the ground or you'll just fall."
„Okay, thank you. That was all." I say.
„You're welcome, if you have any other questions just come by or call me." Tony says.
I nod and head off to the lifts.

I walk out of it and knock at Bucky's door.
He opens it.
„And?"
„I know how to control it!"
„That's great, wanna try it out?"
I nod.
„Come in." he says and steps to the side, so I can walk in.
„Thanks."
He closes the door.
I stand infront of a wall.
„Now, all I have to do is to tap the floor with my toe and- yes!" I say happily and look at him. „I felt the vibration! It must be working. Hold me!"
Bucky walks up to me and holds my waist, so I don't fall down.
I confidently take a step after step.
„Now let go."
„You sure?"
„100%!"
I look at him and nod and he slowly let's go of me.
„It works! That's amazing!" I say and face him.
„It really is."
I go onto the ceiling and walk up to him, so I look at him upside down.
„I'm so happy right now! I could just kiss you!" I say happily and tousle his hair.
Bucky blushes, but doesn't say anything.
‚God, why did I say that? I knew how he's gonna react.. doesn't matter, the suit works, that's the most important thing.'
I tap the ceiling and jump down.
„Woah, careful!" he says.
„That's so cool! I can't believe it really works!" I say and look at him.
He's still blushing slightly.
„I mean, now it's really useful. Plus you can get invisible."
My expression get's more serious as I look down at myself.
„This is gonna change everything.." I say.
Bucky looks at me.
„Now we just have to train the dance and nothing can go wrong."
I look at him and nod.

I've spend some more minutes in his room, before going to mine.
I take the suit off and take a shower.
As I sit down on my bed, I take my phone and text Steve: ‚Was Bucky such a Ladies man as he tells?'
