I know you

I was brought into a cell.
„Great, the same as always." I whisper.
The man walks away and two guards are standing in front of the cell.
I sit down on the bed, take off my glasses and look at the white wall.
It's quiet.
The guards don't talk, different than the guards at Hydra. They always talked to eachother, that's why I know about the Avengers.
I lean my head back on the wall and close my eyes.

„She's waiting in the cell." I hear a man say.
I open my eyes.
A tall man with a black eye patch walks to my cell. The man that brought me here walks right behind him.
„We identified this woman. She's a experiment of Hydra." he starts explaining.
„I am not with Hydra!" I say and stand up.
He gives me a mad look.
„She's called the Shadow Soldier." he continues.
I walk towards them.
„One of the deadliest assassins in the world."
I'm getting angry at this man.
„Enough, thanks. Now leave us alone." The tall man says.
„But-."
„Nah ah. Go. I can handle her."
I raise a eyebrow at him.
He seems sure about himself.
The other man nods and walks away with the guards.
I sit down again.
Mr. Eye patch opens the cell door.
„So you must be this Nick Fury?" I ask.
„The one and only." he answers.
I grin under my mask.
Nick takes one step into the cell.
„I know you have no weapons left, but I also know you could take me down in a second."
„I could, but I won't."
He steps towards me.
„He told me your mission was to kidnap me, is that right?"
„Yeah."
„Then why didn't you?"
„I wanted to escape from Hydra. They took everything from me! I've killed for them and I couldn't take it anymore. Even though I get brainwashed everytime after."
He nods.
„He also told me that it didn't work this time. How do you know that it didn't work?"
„I could remember what I thought the minutes before I was brainwashed."
He looks at me.
„What's your name?"
„Shadow Soldier."
„No, no sorry. Your real name."
„I don't remember..."
„How long have you been brainwashed?"
„Six years."
It's quiet for some minutes.
He just stares at me.
„Do you remember anything before you were captured by Hydra?" he asks.
„I only remember that I had family and friends.  That's all. I can't remember their names or faces, maybe if I see them but I don't know if that would work."
„Mhm."
It looks like he's thinking about something.
„Could you take off your mask?"
I still have this thing on?
I take it off and reveal my face to him.
He wides his eyes.
I don't say a word and look at him.
„Come with me please."
I stand up.
„I know you're a victim of Hydra, but you're also a prisoner. So this." he says and puts me on a handcuff again. „Is for your own safety."
I just accept it
„Follow me." he says and walks to the door.

I follow him.
We walk past many offices and go through some hallways.
Everyone looks at me like I'm a sight.
I know I'm a prisoner but I don't need that much of attention.
He stops and opens a door to a office.
„Come on, walk in." he says.
I walk in and stand in a big room.
He closes the door behind him and takes off the handcuffs.
„Please, sit down."
„Why were all these people looking at me?"
I aks and sit down on a chair in front of the big desk.
„You don't see a prisoner following me every day here."
„But why did you bring me here?"
„If it's true what I am thinking, then at least one good thing happend today."
„What do you mean?"
He taps on the desk and a hologram of his display pops of in front of me.
„Holy cow." I say, beeing impressed.
He opens some files and pictures of me and random people show up.
„Do you know one of them?" he asks.
I look at the pics.
„No.."
He opens a document named Y/N Y/L.
„Whose personal description is this?"
„It's yours."
„Mine? No."
A picture shows up.
„That's you."
I look at it.
„I- I had long hair?"
„That's you. I knew it, I knew I've seen your face before. You were a S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent."
„I don't know."
„Which means.."
He gaps.
„I'm sorry, I need to phone someone." he says and stands up.
„I am very confused." I say.
„Soon no longer."
He takes out his phone and calls someone.
„Tony?"
Tony.
„Ah Pepper, is Tony around? I need to talk to him about something important."
He looks at me.
I've heard that name before.
„Mr. Stark, good to hear you."
Tony Stark.
He's an Avenger.
„Where are you?"
What do I have to do with the Avengers?
„Avengers tower? Good. Could you and Steve come to my office? It's very important."
I am still confused.
„Perfect, thanks Tony."
He hangs up.
„Oh god."
He sighs and sits down again.
I look confusingly at him.
„Ok, so just to clear the situation: You are Y/N Y/L. Before you were captured and brainwashed by Hydra, you were a S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent. One of the best."
I shrug.
„Of course you don't remember."
He sighs again.
„What is happening here? Who are Tony and Steve?"
„Avengers, they're Avengers. They'll come here and then we'll solve the situation."
„What's gonna happen to me?"
„That's what we're gonna figure out."
„I won't go back to Hydra!"
„You won't, I promise you that, Y/N."
I get quiet.

We haven't talked for 2 minutes.
„How did you break in without setting off the alarm instantly?"
„With my superpowers."
„Superpowers?"
„Hydra made them."
„That makes sense. When you were here you didn't have superpowers. And what are they?"
„I can blind people for a short time, hear someone's heartbeat and I can be invisible. That's how I broke in: by blinding the guards and beeing invisible while breaking in. I heard the guards as they came near but it was too late for me to go undercover here, so I surrendered."
„Ok and how do yo-."
Right in that moment the door opens.
„Fury! What's so important for us to come here?" a male voice says sarcastically.
I turn around and see two men standing there.
On the right a men in a suit and sunglasses and on the left a blonde guy in normal clothes.
„Y/N?!" the one on the left says.
