Is this a mean joke?

We walk by all the other S.H.I.E.L.D Agents and people. They all look confused at me. I'm just trying to ignore it.
„So you're a super soldier too?" Steve asks as we get into a lift.
„Yeah, they also gave me this serum." I answer.
„Great, another one." Tony says and pushes a button.
„Look, just cause I've been brainwashed and I'm not the woman you knew, doesn't mean I can't see that you're obviously not happy with how the situation is. I still can see that you're pretty pissed off." I say aggressively and look mad at him.
„Ok guys, it's enough." Steve says. „Tony please, she changed. We've seen her for the first time in six years."
„Doesn't excuse the rude tone she's having." Tony says and walks out of the lift.
Steve rolls his eyes.
„Come on." he says.
We walk behind him.
„Does he have a nice personality?" I ask.
„I heard that." he says.
„Yes he does." Steve answers.

We walk out of the building.
A car stands on the sidewalk.
„Get in." Tony says.
We get in and he drives off.
I look out of the window.
„Not much has changed." I say.
„Yes indeed." Tony says and turns a corner.
I see a big tower with a „A".
„Holy cow." I say. „That's the Avengers-Tower, isn't it?"
„Yes it is."
„I didn't think it was so big."
„It could have been bigger but the city wouldn't let me build it bigger."
„That's amazing!"
Tony smiles slightly.
„And I am gonna stay here?" I ask.
„Yes, maybe forever. We don't know." Steve answers.
„Wow."
He smiles.
Tony stops and we get out of the car.
We walk towards the tower.

„I don't think all of them are here, but a few."
„It's probably better if not that many are here." Steve says.
„There." Tony says and we walk to the lift.
„I think they're up."
He pushes the button.
„Let's see how they're gonna react." Steve says before the doors open.
I'm quiet all the time, what should I even say?
The doors open and we walk out.
Tony and Steve in front of me, I just follow them.

„Hey guys, we got a guest." Tony says as we walk in a room.
„A guest? Since when do we have guests?" I hear a woman's voice say.
„Yep, and you may recognise her." he says.
They take a step to the side and i appear.
I don't say anything.
„Y/N?!" the woman with red hair says in shock and runs to me to hug me.
I still don't say anything.
She raises a eyebrow at me.
„Y/N?"
She looks at Steve and Tony.
„Is this a joke or something?"
They both don't answer to that question.
She looks at me again.
„If yes, then it's a really bad joke."
„Where's Clint?" Steve asks.
„At home with his family." the woman answers.
„Banner?"
„He was in the laboratory with me before we went to Fury, he must be still there." Tony says.
„And Thor?"
„In Asgard, as far as I know." The woman says.
„Ok."
She still looks at me.
„Guys, you can't be serious! What happend to her? Why were you with Fury?" she asks.
Steve sighs.
„Natasha, something happend. Not only that she just appeared after six years. It'll be better if we'd explain ot once for all and not over and over again." he says.
I look at her.
I don't know her, but we must've been very close.
„What do you mean, somethings hap-?"
„Hey fellas, what's-. Oh, who's that?"
Two men come in.
„Sam, Bucky.. Hey." Steve says and looks at them.
Tony looks criticality at him.
„That's Y/N." he points at me.
They walk to us.
One has a metal arm and brown hair.
That must be James Barnes.
I act like I don't know him or rather the Winter Soldier.
The other one is black and has a beard.
„Nice to meet ya, I'm Sam." he says and stretches out his hand to me.
I shake his hand.
„Wow, a firm handshake." he says.
I smirk.
„Nice to meet you too, Sam." I say.
„And that's Bucky."
„Hey." he says.
„Hi." I say and smile.
„Didn't you tell us about her before?" Bucky asks.
„Yeah, sometimes.. before she was gone."
„Oh right."
„Steve." Natasha says.
„Are any other Avengers here?" he asks.
„Wanda and Vision, the rest is either not here or on a mission." Natasha answers.
„Ok, bring them here. I'm gonna introduce her to them, and tell you why she was gone."
She nods.
„I'll tell Banner." Tony says and walks away.
„Come." Steve says and we walk into kind of a living room. „They'll accept you as your „new" you, I promise."
I nod.
Sam and Bucky sit down on chairs.
Natasha comes back with a wine red guy and a redhead.
I look at her.
„Is that-?"
I gasp.
„What is it?" Steve whispers to me.
„That's the girl, the girl that escaped from Hydra." I whisper back.
„You don't tell anybody, understand?"
I nod.
„I'm gonna talk go her too later."
She gives me a suspicious look.
„Wanda, Vision!" Steve says and steps in front of me.
„Cap, who's that?" Vision asks.
„We'll explain that now. Sit down please." he answers.
„Of course, I'm sorry."
They sit down next to eachother on the couch.
Tony and „Banner" also join us.
Steve and I stay in front of them.
Tony walks to us.
„May I have your attention.. this is Y/N and she has-." he starts explaining.
„I am Y/N." I interrupt him. „Some of you maybe know me. I am or rather was one of the best S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents."
I smirk cause I love Starks facial expression and the reactions of the others to it.
They look a little surprised.
Tony sits down.
„And I've been gone for the last six years because I faked my own death to I ascertain undercover. While I did my job I also experimented. One experient on myself gone wrong and now I have superpowers I didn't even want. I've also lost my memory through the experiment. I was seeking help cause I didn't know what to do. So for Natasha and Banner, I am not Y/N anymore."
I look at them.
„At least not the one you knew, I am sorry."
I get quiet and look down.
Steve puts his hand on my shoulder again.
I look at him.
He puts it down again.
„But how did Fury not know about it? He wasn't over your loss for 2 years and we all know he's not that emotional." Natasha says.
„I did a good job, that's why." I answer shortly.
„Noone knew how you disappeared, what did you do?" Banner asks.
„I don't know! I can't remember anything of my life before the accident, it's all gone. Me, my personality, my memories, all of it. The only persons that I recognise are Steve and Sharon, I don't even know in what context. I can't answer any questions of yours relating to before it happend." I answer.
I see Bucky looking at me out of the corner of my eye.
„I'm gonna have a different personality than the „old" Y/N. I still got my name but I am a other person."
Natasha looks away.
I understand that.
She must be sad.
„I have a question." Vision says.
All look at him.
„Please." I say.
„What are your superpowers?" he asks.
All eyes are on me now.
„I can make people blind for a amount of time, be invisible and hear their heartbeat." I answer.
„She's the Shadow Soldier-." Steve says.
„Still a stupid name." Tony shouts.
I give him the same mad look as before.
The others notice that look.
„Anyways, she's a super soldier like Buck and me."
Sam whispers something in Buckys ear and then he looks at me.
I ignore it.
„Y/N is gonna be part of the team and is no longer a S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent. She's gonna live, fight and train with us." he says.
I look surprised at him.
„That's all, thank you. Tony and Wanda, come to us. The rest, continue what you did before."
Tony comes to us, Wanda stands up but tells Vision something and the rest gets up and leaves the room.
„Tony could you get her a room ready?" Steve asks.
„I told that Jarvis half an hour ago, it's ready tomorrow." he answers.
„Good."
Tony nods.
„I'll inform you two if Fury calls me."
„Thanks."
Wanda walks up to us.
I look at her.
Steve waits until everyone is out of the room.
„Wanda, do you know her?" he asks quietly.
„Yes I do indeed, she was captured at the same Hydra facility. She walked past Pietro and me everyday."
„I knew it, he is your brother right?"
„Was.." she says.
„What?"
„He died."
„Oh, I am sorry."
„It's alright."
„I'm sorry for interrupting you. But Wanda, I need you to swear that you tell nobody that she was a Hydra project, understand?"
„Yes, Captain."
„Good, thank you. If anyone, especially Bucky notices about it, then we're doomed. Only Fury, Tony, you, her and me know about this, ok?"
She nods.
„I won't tell anyone, I promise."
„Thank you Wanda."
„Your welcome."
She smiles and walks away.

„Now what?" I ask.
„Shall I show you around?" he asks.
„Yeah."
„Come on then."
We walk to the lift.
