My hands went up out of instinct and white light casted as a shield to protect me. Blinding the being, it winced in pain from the light and flew back from a little shock of energy. It began running away as I threw more bulbs of energy, trying to not damage the memory so much. The only way for this thing to escape is by leaving the memory and I can't have it running around my mind. A light cage thrown down and I missed the blob of shadow, it's fast; I make a few holes of light open from the ground like landmines and those get missed too. The being is almost out, I slapped my hands into the air on both sides of me and throw them forward crossing them at my wrists. White bands leave the ground from my position and circle around the being blasting light upwards surrounding it in place. I flicked my hands at it after it finally froze, strings appeared bringing it up in the air in the same containment field. Whatever it is it surely doesn't like being trapped like this, especially in the light, it was struggling a lot. I began asking it what it's doing with the president, or going to do, what it's purpose might be and how is it alive in a premonition because that's extremely unheard of. It wouldn't answer, there was more focus on the need to escape than communicating. Nothing seemed to get it out of distress, so I yelled at it to answer me, and it looked right in my eyes, that feeling like they know who you are and your entire well being struck me, right into my soul. The shadow then smiled at me and expanded its body outward with a bunch of spikes causing me to put my hands out for protection. A moment later, when I realized there was no attack, I looked back at the being and his face was all that remained sinking into a shadow beneath him, gently fading away. There was no bad feeling, no sense of danger anymore, I still made a ball of light in my palm and tossed it in the air like a tennis player. They're meant to search out dark presences in spaces or any area you are in, and it will guide you to their location, mine dispersed immediately and then there was no light at all. It means the being was gone completely, materializing itself out of my memory. It definitely didn't want to be questioned or captured.

This is a sign, something bad is coming for real and Liza and I need to get to work if there's a chance anything could turn out better. I was done at this point, going through my thoughts, I spread my arms out stretching my entire wingspan and dipped my head backwards. This is sort of like closing a box, the shadow from the lid covers everything inside, but also like resurfacing from being underwater. I woke up, feeling a little chilly, looking around I became aware that at some point in my astral walking I laid down on the bed. Sitting up I felt relaxed and refreshed, but also like I could still sleep for a week, I heard noise from outside the room, so I got up and headed out. Liza was in the kitchen making a sandwich when I came from the flaps that make up my doorway.

"Hey!", she said while turning, a mouthful of sandwich muffling her voice.

I responded with, "Hey, how long was I out?", since astral walking is usually brief.

"Um", she started while looking around, "you've been sleeping for three days".

"Three days!?", I retorted back in disbelief.

She looked at me, "yeah, three days. I thought you were dead to be honest, I called for you several times but there was no answer, then I went in and checked on you and heard you breathing".

"Wow, that's the longest I've ever walked", I expressed, still having a hard time realizing it happened.

"Well, now that you're awake", she says with optimism, "we can decide what to do and where to go next, but I do have to tell you, more has happened".

I nodded to the first part, and then leaned into the last bit, "what do you mean more has happened?".

Liza led me over to a watch panel; I guessed that since I used magic while walking that it helped upgrade the hideout a little. She turned it on and showed me the news where it said several heroes had been captured and executed. Half of them were friends, the others were great fighters that I had only heard of but never met. My thoughts started racing as I was trying to figure out what to do, nobody in the Legion was captured so far so that's good.
