Stargazer spoke next, "I had just gotten back from our mission in the Galan quadrant, and we realized things were different. Attacks and such had swept through the cities and so everyone agreed to check on families. My family was already with me, but the others went quiet, enough to raise suspicion. Derek went to find out what was going on and he never reached out either. I finally decided to look into it and that's when Karma told me my path lies with the others. Asking what she meant I only got told that a different team needed me. She explained the place would be dark at first but that I wouldn't be alone for long. After a week is when Vortex showed up and the news of the outside world had only gotten worse." Passing the torch, Vortex did what both the guys had done and shared her story. "Somehow, she figured out where I was hiding, it was a grueling abandoned hideout in the north. Freezing of course but desolate to where nobody could find me. I thought the villains had caught up to me at first, but she announced herself before I could attack. In the beginning we argued, or only I did, about the whole idea of putting a group of us in the same room. We were going to be nothing but one huge target and a one-up for the villains to collect. Karma made a comment that things will take time and that a leader will come. What convinced me was her saying that there would be a group of us, so I figured I'd try it out." I asked her what was implied by "a leader" and Vortex expressed how she was told the answer to that would solve itself in time. Eventually she found out about the base and got Stargazer's story. Checking with each of them I was wondering why Karma had shown herself in the first place, only mages can see her. None of them knew the answer to this, and if I had to think about it with her being a higher being then she probably ignored the laws on that. She risked a lot to make humans aware of herself, maybe it was necessary. Fire-Soul spoke up this time and added to the group on getting a visit. "Karma told me that I was needed to keep everyone optimistic and that it might take time. We discussed how the only person who could lead us at a time like this was you Summoner. She was very adamant about it being you and no one else. I was told that if I came to the canyon sanctuary then I'd find others like myself. After I got here it made sense from what she told me about keeping positive because the only other thing we knew was that we had to wait. Proving to be getting harder each day the four of us were beginning to lose hope but then these two showed up", and she put a hand out towards Screamer and Hummingbird. The last two just looked at each other and then back at the room, adjusting in his seat Screamer went first. It was extremely short, "I uh, I didn't know I had powers until that lady showed up. Talking about my purpose really freaked me out since I had no clue who she was. I tried running and got followed and it made me paranoid until I yelled at her to leave me alone. That's when my abilities kicked in and then I was on my way here."

This was unimaginable, she somehow found a kid maybe, and knew he had powers and recruited him even though he didn't know it. He hasn't been fully trained either, it shows a little in the immaturity of his personality from how he gets excited easily. Not a bad thing at all, just something we might could work on with him. Hummingbird stood up and took the spotlight by clearing her throat. "Well, I guess I'm last, so uh, Karma found me as well and actually dumped a lot of information on me. It was overwhelming at first but then, like everybody else, things sort of fit together. At first, I got the same deal about being needed to form a new team, then got told where to go. She said that in two weeks' time I was to fly to Barrett city and meet you, only she said I needed to be discreet. When I got there, I saw you reappear, and that swarm of bugs looked like my best bet of keeping track of you. I was instructed to only reveal myself when the time was right, and I did just that. Karma also told me to make sure the others knew the plan, she really stressed that everything had to happen as she explained. I almost acted after we got to that holding cell until one of the men outside the door was talking about the president being there. Remembering more about what I was told, she mentioned you would get me out and back here safely. She also told me to be patient, and now that I was, we both know what the president has been up to." Everything she just put on the table sounded right, Karma has her way of explaining things while being vague about the details. And Hummingbird was right as well, we now know that Impersona is actually the president. Piggybacking off everyone taking turns I used the moment to share what she and I found out while I was captured. If Karma brought us together then I trust each of them enough to at least get something going. More working minds were better than just me. We spent a great deal of time sharing the details about the villains taking over and what the overall plan was. At this point the conversation became rocky since I disagreed with some things. Phaser wasn't too happy with the expression of me wanting to just go in and kill all the villains. He said it was stupid and suicide wasn't the answer. Not letting up it turned into an open argument with a lot of opinions I wasn't aware of.
