I looked at Liza and said we better get going while checking a clock nearby, the show starts at ten and that's twenty minutes from now. Roger thanked us for coming by even though we shouldn't have gone snooping, but it was fun for him to talk to others, and to throw shade at the guy with the attitude whose name was John. I walked to the door shown to us to exit through it and I turned since I noticed Liza wasn't right behind me. Roger had walked down to the others, and she was finishing doing something. When she came over, I asked what it was, and she told me she signed his program as Starlight and tucked it away. Telling her that was nice of her and that I'd hoped he didn't find it until later because it was still risky. I also don't feel he would rat us out, but it takes one person with the wrong attitude, and it could be over. We left the room, Liza behind me as she made sure the door was shut and headed up a few stairs. It took us over to another hallway with a double door facing us. It was propped open and when we entered out of curiosity, it had everything you'd see at a fashion show. "We reached our spot", I told her, and we dug through the seats to find a good place. Once we sat down, I realized the door we came through was a side door and the main one was to our left. Photographers were all over the front rows and some chairs had signs for famous people. The chairs we took were positioned to the right of the stage from the main entrance and we were right at the head of the runway. Interestingly enough within a couple minutes the noise grew louder as more people filed in to take their seats. The flashes started from the cameras and some others had small microphones to do interviews as well. Several minutes later they announced the start of the show and that if we could be kind to everyone around us and not film. They also announced that we didn't stand up at any point, so we don't block someone's view. After the speaking the lights dimmed and a single light stood over the runway, a few more lit up down towards where we were sitting. The announcer came back to introduce the show and the sponsors, finishing with the models he stated the show can begin.
All lights went off, the crowd got quiet, and they began to commentate the first collection. It was themed after forest fires for awareness, thirty different models took turns striding down the runway and stopping at certain places for a split second. I got annoyed fast because I didn't see Jace but then at the end, the very last model he came out dressed in his outfit. I sighed heavily at Liza to let her know I was nervous he wasn't going to show. He's a fairly tall, younger guy with brown hair that I've always seen styled. Dark brown eyes and a mix between pale and naturally tan finish off the rest of his features. One of the better-looking models in the show along with some of the girls, and it's probably because they have less makeup or something. It was good to know he was the last model in the lineup which means when they're on the last collection the show will end with him. Some of the collections were uninteresting and some were very cool, they had a nuclear theme and one that resembled a futuristic look. Liza would hit me when she liked an outfit or the hairstyles, some of the accents on the clothing made her excited too. She mentioned she wanted to wear all the ones she loved while telling me where exactly she'd wear it or when. Every time a model came out the flashes would start again to, so we were able to get good looks at everything. Liza also got into a habit of telling me things she didn't like and started picking out little details about the way some of them walked. After twelve whole collections the announcer said there would be a break before the final collection. This was great with me since I actually had to pee really bad and didn't feel like sitting here for thirty minutes to listen to Liza complain or compliment more.
The lights cut back on, and I stood up to walk out and Liza said she would follow but I told her it was for the bathroom. She told me she would just save my seat instead and I walked out. The bathroom was confusing because it was back down towards the entrance on one side of the giant staircase. It was on the left facing the inside from the door and I cut my corner at the bottom step. I entered and the inside was nice too, large spaces for doing my business and the stalls all looked big like each one was the handicap one. While I was using the urinal I heard a noise from the back stall, it sounded like someone fell. I finished what I was doing and walked lightly over to the corner, I still didn't hear anything after the initial noise. Something about it seemed mysterious enough for me to investigate. Getting closer it still felt as though someone was in the stall, I wasn't going to call out because that's not who I am when things are suspicious, having done the heroics. Sill no noise, I'm at least two feet away and it almost sounds like breathing, I pushed on the stall door and it creaked open. There was nothing, empty space besides the toilet sitting there mounted to the wall. Weirdly enough I felt as if someone was behind me now, so I whipped my head around to see, and nobody was there. I was still the only one in the bathroom as the other stall doors were open. The word "nope" popped in my head, and I walked over to the sink, washed my hands, and left. Looking around the entryway and halls and even checking the ceilings I couldn't see anything. My senses were going crazy from that coincidence, almost feeling a little crazy thinking I heard breathing. I spent another five minutes just standing on the second platform looking down to see if something stuck out. When nothing caught my attention, I headed back into the showroom. Sitting back down with Liza, I told her how odd that just was and that she might need to be ready for something, she nodded while starting to look around carefully. The announcer came back saying they were going to conclude the show with the final collection featured on elegance. The lights toned down again and one single light lit up the start of the runway this time.
