After sitting here for a little while, neither one of us spoke a word we just took the time to absorb what I said. Getting up from my seat I told Serena the others were right; I do need to leave. More importantly, I need to figure out this magic situation before things get worse. If I'm going to do anything from here on out, I need my magic, it's time to use it again, fully. Staying here will only make her a target or get her killed as well. She gave me a hug and sighed a little, "please come back and see me, won't you?", asking with a prolonged tone. I told her, "Definitely" before she told me to watch my back with Embris. Serena said that she may have to answer to the Guild's Order, but she's still a vampire and that doesn't mean she won't betray me. Nodding, we both agreed I needed to stay safe as well and then she got a call about an urgent issue. She did her thing with doors for me to leave and it grew from the floor. It was all black with gold hinges and opened itself out to a pathway. "This is as far out of the city as I can get you within radius", she told me. I looked at her, "this is fine with me", while stepping through the doorway. Serena handed me a cloak and said it might help. I put it on, it fit in some places but was loose in others. "When all of this is over, I'll come back and see you!", I told her as the door shut slowly. She nodded and said goodbye, the door closing after me and fading away.

Back to being by myself, the path was some sort of alleyway or maybe a backstreet. The loneliness hurts more as it keeps happening, but I know that it's for the best. Walking to the right there was a road sign that said "Exiting Westavul" which led me askew outside the city. Sounds of cheer began to trail off the further I went and what was once a celebratory feeling was now dying off. The asphalt turned to dirt and the grass began to take each side of me. A forest lie ahead as I made my way further out from the city and towards the woods. I hadn't journeyed like this since right after graduating Ankastle, it was when I had to complete my master spell course. This is quite similar to my job outside of heroics, a little adventure but with the impending doom still lingering. Teleporting would be easy, but it hasn't worked since I officially left the school. It's all part of everything that doesn't want to work out for me, I did try to, and it didn't work so I gave up on the idea. I kept on the path as the dirt shuffled beneath me, you could hear birds chirping ahead. Some leaves flew around when the wind picked up and the tops of the trees swayed along. There were a few clouds above but nothing serious, the sun was still bright. A twig snapped under my foot when I got closer to entering the woods, the feeling changed in the atmosphere. It wasn't a bad feeling but one that told me things were going to be serious from now on. Looking around while moving, taking one last look of Westavul, I entered the forest.

Valtera is a while away from here, which helps me figuring out how to get to Embris. She's the leader of the notorious dark guild in the whole realm. Even Valsyrian mages avoid them, the vampires I mean; they're just bad. Always scheming against the first human that they run into and always tricking them into death to eat them. They're partial human as they look it, but the pure bloods can turn into walking demon creature versions. Their skin turns blue, and the eyes fill with black while the irises glow white, wings rest on the backside that are pointy enough to stab through bone. A bite from a pure blood can turn you into one since they produce a venom in their saliva. The half breeds have to get you to drink their blood before you die, it starts a reanimation process that brings you back if you do. Some good news with this is that pure bloods aren't allowed to leave Valsyri, they die instantly if they try. It makes for a good way to get half breeds to do their dirty work, but it sort of establishes their hierarchy at the same time. An entire family was taken out once because they tried to conquer the realm and decided to move onto Earthworld, that's how we found out. It's stupid and a little funny at the same time but ever since then they've been trying to find a way out. I think there's something about our realm to where magical creatures can't get out, so they might classify in that category.
