I got the role.

Auditions were pretty hard, the competition was incredibly tough. There was a lot of incredibly good looking men there who were auditioning, but a lot of them looked to old to be high schoolers. I had a good chance due to being young, and still looking young too. I was approached by a lot of actors who knew me and it was super lovely knowing that I had give them the spirit to get into acting too.

The process of the audition was fairly quick due to a lot of people auditioning, but the time in front of the casting directors was pretty funny. I recited some lines from the script they provided, and then I was moved along. They of course knew who I was, and they were lovely. They don't usually say much after your audition, just usual comments of 'We'll get in touch'  or 'We don't think your right for the role'.

I got the "We'll get in touch'.

Just a few days later, my management team received an email detailing the outcomes of the auditions that had taken place over the span of two intense days. The message was quite elaborate, outlining the selection process and the various candidates who had showcased their talents. To my delight, it revealed that I was being considered for the prestigious role of the Main Male Lead. The competition was stiff, as there were two other actors in the running, but I felt a strong sense of confidence in my abilities and preparation. Knowing how hard I had worked and how well I had connected with the material, I was optimistic that I would emerge as the top choice for the role.

There was a second audition period, where I was given an new script and I had to audition alongside one of the other actors who were being considered for the role. He was a new actor, and he was aiming high. We got acquainted and read through the script together. He showed great potential during our rehearsals although it was expected when the casting directors told him he would be better as second lead.

His name was So-Joon. He was 22, and a new actor. He was pretty incredible, but as a senior actor, I wouldn't let him outshine me. I was back from hiatus, and I was going to be working my ass off. We got along fairly well, and he was very nice. I wonder what he would be like on set.

My manager was pleased to announce to the company that I got the main lead for the show, and my company celebrated. My company was fairly small, only homing 3-10 actors, and 3 K-pop groups, although they were in separate buildings around Seoul.

Filming was set to kick off in just a few weeks, but I knew there was a lot of preparation that lay ahead. My first task was to thoroughly read through the script to familiarize myself with the storyline and my character's nuances. Once I felt comfortable with that, I would need to arrange meetings with the directors and the entire production team to discuss our collective vision for the project and clarify any questions I had about the scenes.

One of the most exciting parts of the upcoming weeks was the script read-through with the cast. This would be my opportunity to meet the female lead for the first time, and I was bubbling with anticipation. I could hardly wait to engage in our initial conversations and explore how we would bring our characters to life together.

The whole process of working on a show is what makes me excited for the final outcome. There would be behind the scenes to film, and interviews before the show comes out. Everything that I would attend to with great pleasure.

"Hyung?" I asked out to my manager who was handling the files of information about the new show.

"Hmm?"

"You know how most drama's have an OST?" I asked, suddenly wondering about the OST.

"Yeah...What about it?"

"Well, who is performing the song for my show?" I asked him. I was sitting in my sitting room, comfortable on the sofa, as my manager was sitting at my kitchen table, working.

"The director's probably working on getting someone for it. You'll have to ask. I don't have access to that information." He disclosed and I nodded tiredly.

"Who do you think it might be?" I asked, as I turned the TV down.

My manager sighed, "I have no idea Korain-ah."

I sighed. Playing on my TV, was a K-pop group, and they were performing their songs on stage with great energy. I noticed recently that groups are performing more OST's recently, or at least one singer from a group. It's a perfect strategy for getting more people to watch the dramas, people will watch them for their favourite idols.

I picked up my phone and decided to look up some OST's sang by idols. It's quite a popular idea, and it works positively for both the drama and the K-pop singer.

"Tomorrow, Korain-ah, you'll travel to the set and meet the directors." my manager said.

"I know. What time do I need to be awake for?" I asked and got onto my clock app to set a reminder.

"7am, Sharp. I'll come and wake you up." Hyung reminded and I nodded.

"Hyung...Will everything be okay this time?" I asked, suddenly feeling nervous for the first time.

I watched as he stood up from my kitchen chair, and moved over to sit by me on the couch. He smiled as we looked at each other, then he slightly slapped my shoulder.

"Don't worry about what happened. I know you don't like speaking about it, but what happened...I wont let it happen again."

I nodded and smiled at my manager. I would put all the past behind me and work on the future, and my new project. It would all work out in the end, and this is will be another international success.

I also want to know who will be singing the OST.
