The police arrived during my silence, during my thinking. I greeted them politely. The woman sat down beside my bed, holding a notepad and ready to write things down. She smiled at me, and began introducing herself and her colleague who made quiet conversation with my manager.

"Korain, I'm aware we've talked to you before about this stalker." She said, "Can you tell me what happened tonight?"

I nodded and began on my long rampage of remembrance, "I got back from work, I had a weird feeling of being watched and so I went to the elevator. It said it was out of order, but it had worked that morning for I didn't know it wasn't working. I heard whistling when I went to the stairs. I began walking up them, and he was at the door."

"It's okay Korain, your safe here." She said softly as I began shaking just recalling it.

"I ran all the way up to my floor, but when I got there. The door wouldn't open so I just shut down and panicked. Once he was in front of me, I tried to run up more stairs but he yanked me back down and...he just started talking crazy and hitting me." I explained, the same bubble back in my  throat.

"I see...do you remember anything he said?" She asked, looking at me hopefully. I racked my mind full of the crazy things he said.

"I don't...I don't know! He was crazy, just saying he loved me! He threatened to go after...after my friend who had been in apartment."

"Okay," The policewoman sighed, "Calm down Korain. It's okay. Can you explain what happened next?"

I took a deep breath, "I was nearly dead i think. He kissed me but I fought back. but the women, she was on her way down the stairs, and he rushed off in a panic."

"A woman?" I nodded and pointed outside at the woman who was sitting outside my room. I had no idea who she was, but she lived in my apartment building and she saved my life.

The policewoman's colleague went outside to talk to her and I turned back to the police woman in front of me.

"I know this is difficult to talk about, however, I need you to recite everything from the first time this happened." She said slowly, hoping not to make me angry, but I wasn't angry, I was just tired and I felt like a burden.

"The first time, he pulled me into a alleyway in the darkness of the night, and he beat me up. Less than he did tonight, but I had a broken ankle back then too. He tried to pick me up and take me to his car, but someone had came out into the alleyway and scared him. I managed to use it as a distraction and I ran away." I explained quickly, "How many times do I have to tell the police this?"

"I'm sorry, I know you're stressed." She apologised, "We have a warrant to check your apartment building which we'll do thoroughly. Do you know when this happened?"

"When he left the apartment building, I think it was around 11:50pm." I told her and she smiled softly.

"Thank you Korain-ssi. I promise we'll do as much as we can." She said before leaving my room, and I sighed. They promised that last time. I turned to my manager finally.

"The doctor will be back any minute to take you for your x-ray." He said and I nodded, "I'm sorry for not being there Korain-ah."

"Don't do that hyung. I should've said something as soon as I felt something was off. He sent me flowers you know. I thought Chan had sent them.." I mentioned and he looked at me.

"So, he knows where you live again?" My manager spoke up and I nodded. I watched him as he pulled out his phone and began typing quickly, "I'm letting the company know right now, so they can find you a new place to stay."

"But how long will that take hyung?" I asked, unsure of where I would stay in the meantime. I would forever be too scared to go back into that apartment building.

"I'm not sure Korain-ah, but you can always stay with me and my wife. She wont mind." He suggested and I suddenly felt like the worst and biggest burden in the world, "Or...Chan might take you in?"

"No hyung. Don't suggest such a thing. I would never burden Chan like that, he already thinks I'm a little kid..."

I felt bad for saying it, even after we spoke about it. Whether Chan saw me like a kid, I knew he would never judge me, and he would take care of me. Yet, in the state that I'm in, I don't think I could face him ever again. I never spoke much about my hiatus, and I had lied to Chan about it when we weren't as close. To show up at his dorm door with the injuries I have and with a new break from acting, I think I'd rather wallow in self pity and die.

I could never do that to Chan and whichever Stray Kids member he lives with.

"Korain...you know you'll have to go on another hiatus right?" My manager said, and suddenly, his words brought a weight of reality to it and I begun crying.

"I don't want to." I cried out and he climbed on the bed and brought me into his arms.

"I know...but you can't act with your injuries." He said softly, "People will understand."

"They wont! They'll complain that I'm stupid for getting injured again while I'm filming and they'll be disappointed!" I cried out, acting was my passion so why was I being punished for it now?

My manager sighed, knowing I was speaking the truth, at least part of it, "Then...why don't we tell the fans the truth this time?"

"Hyung. The reason we didn't last time was because the police couldn't do anything to help." I huffed out, wiping the only eye which wasn't swollen, "If they can't help this time, we have to lie."

My manager pulled me into his chest, and I softly cried into it. I just cuddled up to him, and we sat in silence thinking over this whole fucked up situation. Eventually, disrupting our silence was my doctor. He explained that an x-ray room had finally opened up for us to use. My manager climbed off the bed, and I was wheeled into the room.

I cried out accidently when they moved my ankle into a very uncomfortable position just to get a x-ray scan of it. After the pictures were produced, the doctor showed us my ankle on his computer and explained I had broke it in two places this time. I was scheduled to get an immediate surgery to set it right and to put a cast on it.

I only had to wait an hour for the surgery since I was a priority. I think I got priority due to my job ect though. I went under anaesthesia, and after about an hour or two, I had woken up with a black plaster cast which reached mid shin. I was still a little out of it, but I knew my manager was still here.

"What time is it hyung?" I asked him, and he shuffled around for a second.

"It's currently 3:12am. Your phone died, I was given it before you went into surgery." He said and I nodded.

"Can we go home soon?" I asked him, and he sighed.

"I hope Korain-ah."
