September 2023

A lot of time has passed. In January, I got my ankle brace removed permanently and went through some physical therapy to strengthen my bones for acting and moving about in general. After that, the spare weeks in February, weren't all that spare at all. I attended red carpets and interviews for my show which was announced despite the filming not being 100% completed.

After those interviews, I went straight into long days of filming. We managed to complete filming completely after just 3 weeks instead of the 7 as planned. It was chaotic and busy and I was tired nearly every day. I barely had the energy to talk to Chan never mind have sleepovers with him, and I felt super guilty. Chan, however, was super polite and took all my whining like a graceful partner should.

By June, I was finished with all the promotions of my show and the announcements of the show's ratings were out. On Netflix, it was number 1 on the shows in 15 different countries for multiple weeks. It had done so well, and I got paid a large amount after the release and success of it. I really enjoyed watching the final production of the show after it had been through editing and sequencing.

Not only that but I liked hearing Stray Kids' song, at the end of the episode when the credits were showing. I loved it all.

I was praised a lot by netizens after their last post was 'revealing Chan and I'. It was like I said it would be, if Chan and I didn't mention anything about the reveal, then the news would die down and people would start believing that perhaps it wasn't real and that netizens had got this year wrong.

By August, Chan had got his own personal instagram and I was the first person to follow him. He set it all up in my apartment, and he posted some photos we had took when we had both been in Europe for different reasons. We had met in France while both doing promotions or touring and of course, we had to go on walks together. We had started a nightly routine of going on walks a few nights a week if possible, and taking photos.

My fear of the night had subsided, but when I was with Chan, he was always aware of our surroundings, took care of me, and never took me anywhere where they're was no lights or no people.

He tagged me in this photo, and I was squealing, excited for the reaction of everyone who would see it. I never anticipated the photo would go viral for that image in particular, so the attention of my tagged name in the caption had the whole of netizens swirling in a spiral. Fans had gathered that we were either really good friends or our relationship was real. We still didn't confirm anything in words.

The photos Chan and I had took on that date night, after the food at the restaurant, were also posted after his first one. I was tagged again in the caption, and fans of both Chan and I were almost begging for the reveal by us, announcing our relationship. With fans loving us, also came fans who hated our relationship. We were aware that it would happen, and the attention wouldn't be all good, but we were ready to deal with the assumptions and the hate.

By September, I finally had another project I was going to be working on. It was another K-Drama, set to begin filming in early December. I was to play one of the main characters. It was a fantasy action, and I was finally doing something with action and fight scenes, and learn something new.

Chan had an early birthday present for me, a trip to Australia in the next few days, and I had been packing away.

"Chan, which shoes should I take?" I ask him, as he lies on my bed, watching me panic

"Take any." Chan smiled, and I rolled my eyes at his lack of helpfulness.

"Your no help..." I muttered, looking at two different pairs of trainers.

"Why does it matter my love?" Chan chuckled, and I smiled.

"I want to be cool for your siblings." I told him and he smiled big, "I need them to like me at least."

I looked at Chan as he pulled the covers over his shoulders and had his phone pointed at me. He had started doing this recently, videoing me doing random things when we were together. I was slightly confused by it but let him do it anyway. I trusted Chan with whatever he was doing with those videos or what he planned to do with them.

"They'll love you." Chan announced as he filmed me as I shoved my shoes into a suitcase.

"You promise?" I asked him, seriously nervous about how his family will like me.

"I promise."

"Even if I can't talk English?"

Chan chuckled, "My parents don't speak perfect English, you'll be just fine."

I nodded and used my knees to wobble myself over to me bed and kiss him on the lips. Over the last few months, we had definitely more domesticated. We don't really argue, so it took us no time to get incredibly comfortable with one another. We enjoy our time together so much that if never feels like we'll fall out of this domesticated atmosphere, or we wont fall out of the 'honeymoon phase'.

"I love you." I told him, and he smiled and kissed me again.

"Have you packed away snacks for the flight?" He asks, and I pause for a second, thinking of what else I still need to pack for the flight in a few days.

"OH SHIT."

I ran out of the room, grabbing a small bag and shoving some snacks in to place into the bag I'm taking on the plane. We're getting a normal first class flight since we're going on holiday, we were obliged to not use any of the small private planes they might use for idols if it's busy schedules and risks are involved. I could hear Chan laughing at me, so after I had put the snacks away. I jumped on him in bed.

"I'm so excited!" I told him and he smiled at me, a wistful look in his eyes, or perhaps it was lust.

"Me too." He smiled, "Your going to see my old bedroom."

"Sleep in your tiny bed." I teased him, he had shown me old photos of his room and it was full of medals, and a small bed.

"We'll just have to huddle together." He chuckled and removed my hair out of my eyes for me.

"Yeah, right...next  to each other." I smiled as I kissed him. He eventually pulled me into the bed properly, and we cuddled while talking about childhood stories. The time never got boring with Chan, and I was definitely ready to meet his family.
