I was attending a party for New Year's. It would be the first time I would go outside to interact with people properly. I was going with So-Joon, and he would pick me up around 10 pm because I didn't want to be out all night when I was still recovering physically and emotionally. He was completely fine with picking me up which meant I had to get dressed in a nice outfit.

It is usually a tradition for Korean people to go out before the sun rises in the new year. People like to go to beaches or climb hills and mountains to watch the first sunrise of the year. However, with my ankle, I was unable to. Chan had said he was going to the beach with the members for the first sunrise. At midnight, I would message him about a new year.

I checked my phone, waiting for it to get closer to 10 pm, it was currently 8:55 pm. I saw that I had a message from Chan himself. I checked it.

Channie: Jagi, I know I'm busy tonight but I'm so excited to share this new year with you. Have a good time at the party, message me later on so I know your safe x

Rain-ah: I'm so excited to go into the new year with you too!! I'll message you later, have a good night x

Channie: I love you the most.

Rain-ah: I love you THE MOST!

I smiled at the interaction, a lot of these interactions happened when we couldn't see each other due to busy schedules and more. More of our messages were sweet and funny, and I was always happy to message him. I missed him in person but settling for the sweet messages was enough till I could see him again. When I did see him in person, it was full of jokes, cuddles, and making food with each other.

I decided to get dressed a bit earlier than I had planned. It was hard with my cast, but I decided to put on some blue jeans shorts which came just above my knee. I knew I would probably freeze to death, but I would hate to force some clothes over my cast. I then put on a nice pastel yellow jumper and styled my longish hair. It wasn't too long and looked nice when styled right, but I wasn't used to it always being in my eyes.

I put on a few pieces of jewelry on, and then the Gucci bracelet Chan had spent so much money on. I smiled in the mirror and then hopped my way back into my small living room where I would just chill till So-Joon came.

I didn't have to wait long because So-Joon came 10 minutes earlier, and I was impressed by his car. It was a classic old Jaguar car, perhaps an E-Type but I don't know cars all that much. It was low, and small, clearly only made for 2 people to fit in. It was fancy and we would be riding to the party in style. I got in and shoved my crutch to the back of the car.

"Nice car hyung," I told him, and he smiled at me, helping me settle in and put my crutch in a better position.

"Thank you. It belonged to my dad before it was fixed and refurbished." He told me and I nodded, quite interesting. It was a car from the like '70s.

"It's awesome," I told him, and he began driving to our destination.

The party was being held by some director who had invited all of his friends, and the people he worked with. He was known to be quite the partier, and I was excited for what entertainment he might have in store. I heard it was taking place at his humble abode, but So-Joon had said it was somewhere in his street. The director was rich, so I assume it would be somewhere grand regardless.

"How you been holding up?" So-Joon asked me as we drove, and I turned to him with a smile.

"Pretty good. I move into the new place and it's so cozy." I told him, "And I had a good Christmas."

"That's good." So-Joon said with a smile, "I was shocked when I took you Christmas shopping and you only got a few things."

"Oh yeah, well we were walking weren't we and I couldn't carry everything then." I said, remembering our day out on the 5th, "I ordered most of my presents."

He nodded in understanding. He began telling me about his Christmas which he spent with his older sister instead of his parents this year. He had played a bunch of Christmas games with his young nephew, and it seemed like he had a special time. I wanted to tell him the truth about Chan, but I couldn't bring myself to say anything without Chan's knowledge. I didn't want to throw him under the bus.

We eventually arrived at the house of this director. I got out of the car with my crutch and walked in behind So-Joon. I was hoping that there weren't any cameras out, because I would have to explain why I was attending this party with a broken ankle, and to be honest, I had no excuses or reasons. Not that I think fans would be disappointed, they might be the opposite.

I did what any normal person would do, or at least everyone else was doing at this party and I drank a lot of alcohol. I mingled a lot and talked with a lot of different actors and directors, and I was asked about my harrowing experience with the stalker a lot. That's what mainly led to me drinking so much, to be honest.

"Hey Korain-ah!" I turned to the voice quickly, but the room blurred and then suddenly So-Joon was right in front of me which scared me.

"What?" I giggled suddenly at the sound of the voice that came out of me, it was definitely not me...

"Your so fucked! How much did you drink?" He asked, and it took a second to understand what he asked. I looked down at my cup which was no empty of my drink again.

"I just took a drink?" I said, which was more like a question because I couldn't remember drinking the liquid inside my cup.

"It's nearly 4am!" He shouted over the music, and I looked at him confused. Why was he telling me the time?

"Okay?"

He rolled his eyes, "Everyone that's awake is going to the beach to see the sunrise!" So-Joon said into my ear so he didnt have to shout more.

"But I've been drinking I cant drive idiot!" I laughed at him, and he flicked my forehead which hurt a lot more than it should of.

"It's hyung to you." He said and I nodded, "Come on, I'll take you to my car."

His hands found themselves on my shoulders and was slowly guiding me through the blur of each person and room. The cold wind of January 1st, was hitting and stabbing my legs and face. I shivered and screamed, which led to one of So-Joon's hands covering my mouth. I giggled under his hand as he pushed me slowly to his car.

Once inside, he put on my seatbelt for me, and a he followed a bunch of other cars down to the closest beach. It was still quite a drive, but once we got there, the sun had peaked over the horizon. I was still drunk, the car had made me feel like and I didn't want to puke in So-Joon's car so I got out as quickly as I could. I forgot my crutch, and fell down on my knees.

"Shit Korain-ah!" So-Joon rushed over and helped me up, "Why are you crying?"

I lifted my hands up and wiped my tears, "That hurt."

"For fuck sake, your knees are bleeding." He sighed and grabbed my crutch for me. I put it under my arm, and stood up right leaning on it.

I looked down at my knees to see them scraped because of the pavement of the beach's car park. I sighed and rolled my eyes, willing the pain in my stomach to leave. I followed So-joon onto the beach, he was keeping an eye on me since my crutch would sink into the sand. It was busy as fuck...

I walked closer to the water where it was less busy, less people wanted to be close to the freezing winter sea, but I don't mind. I had already lost So-Joon to the crowd. I swear I was right behind him, but...

"Rain-ah?"

I turned to the voice. Ah, an angel. It was Felix! He had changed from back in September!

"FELIX"
