Jongho kept walking. He wasn't sure how far he was from home by now. But he had been walking for a long time. He walked to school the other day but never went in the building. He was a little surprised he wasn't caught yet. To him, that was a good thing. He didn't want to get caught. Definitely since his dad would probably punish him. He didn't want anyone to see or know what he was about to do.

He never ran from home before. Somehow it felt good. Like he could finally breathe. His mind was clearer than ever. He was so sure that he was the root of everyone's problems. All the voices in his head told him that he was also the solution. If he could just disappear somehow everyone would be happier.

After walking for so long, his leg began to hurt. He couldn't walk anymore. So he waited under a bridge to rest. He looked up at the bridge. 'If I could just get on top.' He thought to himself.

That morning Jongho's mother was panicking. She knew Jongho didn't come home last night because she stayed in the living room all night waiting for him. She fell asleep in the process. She thought he had went to school but after calling they said he wasn't there and he didn't come to school the day before either. She immediately went to the police station.

Jongho's mom called Jongho for the last time as she drove to the police station. She already called his friends to see if they knew anything. She ran in and went to the front desk.

"Please my son is missing. Have you seen my son?" She showed a picture of Jongho.

"Your son? What's his name and age." The officer said typing on the computer.

"Yes. Choi Jongho. He's sixteen." She replied.

"Okay.. fill out this form and we can put him in the system." The officer handed her a clipboard with a few papers on it.

"No. I want you to send a team and look for him right now." She demanded.

"Ma'am you need to fill out the form so we know what he looks like." The officer sighed.

"I have a picture right here!"

"There are tons of other missing children. We have a system. It's the best way to find him." He tried to explain.

"Where is my husband? I want to talk to him." She asked.

"Is your husband an officer? What's his name?" He asked in return.

Jongho's dad walked in from the other room. Seeing his wife he quickly walked over. "Honey why are you here? Is everything okay?"

"This is your wife?" The other officer asked. He was a little nervous because Jongho's father was a higher rank than him.

"Yes. Tell me what's going on." Jongho's dad said sternly.

"Your son is missing." The officer told him.

"Jongho.." she sobbed.

"Missing? Are you sure he's not at school?" He asked his wife.

"He's not. The school said he isn't there today and didn't go yesterday. He didn't come home last night. I tried to stay up and wait for him. I called him and texted him and all his friends.." She cried.
