"Nothing is ever as easy as just sex," Lydia said, "One of them is going to fall in love with the other, or in most cases, they're going to fall in love with each other," Lydia rolled her eyes,

"That's what makes it a good movie," Allison said after her, "And hot too, I'd love for this to happen," Allison smiled as she cuddled into Scott, 

"Go get a room," Jackson rolled his eyes, "Nobody wants to see that," He looked disgusted,

"Oh shut up," Scott rolled his eyes back, "At least I have someone to do this with," Scott countered, 

"How about you both shut up and watch the movie?" Derek stopped them, using what Stiles called his alpha voice,

"I love their friendship too," Lydia ignored, "It is so obvious that they like each other but they are just too dense and damaged to tell each other, how lame but romantic,"

"I know!" Allison agreed, "But I understand, They both had terrible partners before no wonder they don't want to rush,"

For a while, nobody said anything more, Stiles sat next to Derek as he watched, he had watched this movie a dozen times but this time felt different, Stiles wondered if Derek had ever seen it, the commentary between Lydia and Allison had become very amusing,

"That was the worst timing ever," Lydia threw her hands up in the air, "He was just trying to hide his true feelings!" She puffed,

"Awe," Allison frowned, "Now Jamie is all insecure," Allison cuddled into Scott more, "Why can't they just be happy?"

"See, Nothing is ever just sex," Danny pointed, "Lydia was right, and now that they are not speaking it's going to be depressing, If they were just honest with their feelings they could be having sex,"

"Oh, Because a relationship is totally just based on sex," Stiles rolled his eyes,

"You are just saying that cuz you haven't experienced it," Scott shook his head, "If you did you would not be saying that,"

"Oh shut up," Stiles told him, "We are not talking about my non-existent sex life," Stiles rolled his eyes,

"I'm sure someone out there wants a piece of you," Danny winked, "Don't worry your pretty head," Stiles rolled his eyes again,

When he looked over at Derek it looked like he was clenching his fists but Stiles did not know why, Maybe it was because the topic of sex made him uncomfortable and that was understandable after Kate.

For the rest of the movie it was quiet, nobody said anything but the majority did cheer when Jamie and Dylan kissed, Stiles smiled, and the movie always cheered him up.

"Now we should watch an animation," Lydia suggested, "Like home, I love Oh," She suggested, "Everyone in favor say I," 

"As fun as this was, I think I'm gonna call it a night," Derek got up, "I did enjoy this though,"

"Okay man," Jackson waved, "See ya," Everyone waved him off and Stiles just kept looking in the direction Derek went,

"We will not be offended if you want to follow," Danny winked, Stiles sighed, "We all know you want to, especially with that lost puppy expression on your face,"

"Yeah Stiles," Allison smiled at him, "No offense taken," Stiles could not believe what his friends were saying,

"How about we just watch the movie?" Stiles looked at them, Did they forget Derek could hear them?

"Okay fine," Danny sighed, "Do not say I did not try and help you," Danny pointed, 

Stiles got out his phone quickly,

Stiles: HE CAN HEAR YOU, SHUT UP.

Danny got the message quickly and chuckled, "Oh shit, Forgot," Danny responded out loud, Stiles rolled his eyes as he gave him the finger,

They continued on and Stiles could not help but pull out his phone once again, god, he was so pathetic,

Stiles: Did you actually go to bed or were you just trying to escape the teens?
Derek: The latter, felt out of place but it's okay.
Stiles: Awe man, You'll fit in fine once you understand how we are, Don't worry :))
Derek: I imagine I will, Is everything okay? You seem to be texting me more than watching the movie...
Stiles: Everything's good just wanted to see how you were because we haven't talked in a bit...
Derek: And who's fault is that?
Stiles: Okay wow, I was actually worried I annoyed you, I wanted to give you a break.
Derek: You could never annoy me.

"Here we are watching a movie while Stiles is smiling at his phone," Lydia dragged him back to the movie, "Any particular reason?"

"Nope," Stiles answered, "Now let me be," Stiles didn't wait for a response before he looked back to his phone,

Derek: Did I get you in trouble?
Stiles: Not really, and I am glad I don't annoy you...
Derek: You could always come up if you are not interested in the movie...

"Okay guys I am out of here," Stiles got up swiftly, "I'm sure you'll figure sleeping arrangements out and I will see you in the morning," Stiles waved and walked away before any teasing began.

"What gave you the idea you annoyed me?" Derek asked as Stiles sat down on the edge of Derek's bed, 

"I've just been here so much that I figured I did," Stiles shrugged, "It wasn't that you did anything to give me that idea,"

"Well," Derek looked at him, "You can come over any time you'd like, I do not mind," Derek smiled at him, Stiles forgot how much he liked that smile, 

"Okay but that may require me bringing stuff over," Stiles teased, "I mean, If you are talking any time I might also need a key," As Stiles spoke Derek began reaching to a bedside draw,

"Like this?" Derek handed Stiles a key making his eyes go wide, "I was already planning on it and then the rest of the pack may be getting one too but not yet,"

"Okay, I was not expecting an actual key but thank you," Stiles took the key out of Derek's hand momentarily touching his hand before placing his hands back in his lap, 

"No problem," Derek smiled, "Now where do you plan to sleep?" Derek asked, Stiles shrugged,

"Probably just go back downstairs," Stiles told him, "But probably not for a while," Stiles knew they'd at least watch one more movie,

"If you wanted you could sleep here," Derek looked away from him and Stiles could swear the man looked nervous,

"Okay, I will," Stiles smiled, Derek nodded as he moved over in his bed and motioned for Stiles to lay down so he did,

Stiles began to lay down slowly, he could not believe this was happening, How was he supposed to keep his feelings in check? He was so close to Derek that he could hear his slow breathing, but it was also so comfortable, Derek somehow smelled like home, and Stiles was a complete goner, the silence was also very comforting.

A/N: Is this too soon to get them together? Ah, I want to just do it already but I don't want the timing to be quick...
