Chapter 14... Subway tracks

Hello again. This chapter was supposed to Be out sooner, but I went back and tweaked it some. I kinda just kept changing my mind about a few things so I had to go back and change them until I felt happy with it.

Anyways, the chapter is here now. Hopefully y'all enjoy it.

You were just sitting on the ground trying to calm down after what happened.

Dome: "How much you wanna bet that I can get the power back on?"

Y/N: "I highly doubt it."

Dome: "Bet!"

Dome was messing with some metal box on the wall. You guessed he was trying to get the lights on the subway on.

It's a good thing that Dome can light up such a dark room with his visor. Otherwise the only thing you would be able to use was your phone.

Dome told you that both of y'all can simply walk down the side of the train stacks to get back to the main city. Better than staying in this place.

Y/N: "Dome."

Dome: "What's up?"

You figured now would be a good time to try to get some questions answered.

Y/N: "Why does this place look so abandoned?"

Dome: "Oh.. it's been like this for years. For whatever reason, the cops just don't care about this area."

Y/N: "What about the subway? It doesn't look like this place has been used for a long time."

Dome: "Nobody wants to be here to take care of everything. So almost everything here has been left to rot. They don't use this station anymore."

Y/N: "Wonder why the cops don't care about this part of the city."

Dome: "Beats me.. you would think they would want control over everything, but I guess not."

It sounds like this place basically has zero laws. Just a home for the criminals.

Dome: "Okay! I got good news and bad news."

Y/N: "Good news first."

The only thing you wanted was good news at this point.

Dome: "Good news.. my visor has a built in flashlight! Brand new too!"

Y/N: "Okay? Bad news then?"

Dome: "I couldn't get the power back on..."

Y/N: "Figured."

He sounded excited about his new flashlight. Pretty convenient actually.

Dome: "I don't want to wait around any longer. You ready to go? We have a good walk ahead of us."

Y/N: "Sure."

You say tired. You were fed up with this place, and you really haven't been here for long. You actually kinda missed the bright neon city.

You get up and follow Dome to the train tracks. He was your only source of light. Not including your phone light.

Dome: "Okay, so I should just be able to..."

He just stands there for a minute. Before a bright light shines from the side of his head.

The light was much brighter than a average flashlight. It almost lit up the whole room.
