Chapter 22... Holograms

People were running all around you, and you stand in shock since Some just told you that what sounded like a mentally unstable man named Conner is here to hunt you and Dome.

Y/N: "Conner!?"

Dome: "Yeah! Him! Now let's get a move on shall we?"

Dome immediately and quickly runs past you, and you swiftly follow him. You still weren't sure what exactly the situation was, but all you know that Conner most likely had a gun.. and he was looking for Dome.

You remember that Dome was worried that y'all were being watched by a drone.. somebody like Conner may use one if he's trying to track somebody down.. so maybe Dome was actually on to something earlier.

You don't have time to think about that right now. You have to leave before you end up getting shot.

Densantra: "Fuck! Where too?"

Dome: "Uh... I think there's a old store we can hide in."

Densantra: "You think!?"

Dome: "I don't Know!"

Y/N: "We don't have time for this!"

Now was probably the absolute worst time for Densantra and Dome to argue about what to do now. You look over your shoulder for a quick second, and you don't see anyone that might be Conner.. thank goodness.

Y/N: "Where's the store at?"

Dome: "Over here, follow me."

You all quickly follow Dome to wherever this old store was at. You didn't know where to go that you could hide at, but just running for now was your best option.

You all exit the festival and start running down the sidewalk. Now would be a great time for the police to show up soon.

You run past a few people that stood there confused.. oblivious to the danger that they could possibly be in.

Dome: "Right here!"

Dome stops at a rusty store on the side of the road. The store looks like it had definitely seen better days. Dome tries to open the door, but it was locked.

Dome: "Ah shit... This shit is locked."

Densantra: "Fuck!"

Sapphire: "W-Where do we go?"

Dome: "Oh... We're still going inside the store."

Dome takes a step back from the door, and he attempts to kick the door open.

Densantra: "I don't know if that's going to wo-"

Dome then successfully kicks open the door.

Dome: "It worked."

Densantra immediately runs inside, then sapphire, then you, and then Dome enters the old rundown store and shuts the door.

The store appeared to be a small restaurant.. or at least that's what it used to be. It was abandoned now, as well as kinda dark.

Dome was taking deep breaths.

Dome: "Aw man... I gotta work out more."

Sapphire was still shaking, and Densantra looked like she about had enough of this.

Y/N: "You sure he won't check in here?"

There wasn't much you could do if Conner did look inside this abandoned restaurant.
