Chapter 46... The big bad Wolf

You stand idle with Dome and Densantra as rain pours down on top of you. The wind blows hard while you stare at the man who refuses to give up.

Conner..... He was blocking your way from leaving. He stood on the other side of the bridge between the two skyscrapers as you stand in the middle of the bridge.

Y/N: "How'd you find us this time!?"

You speak above the sound of thousands of rain drops hitting the ground.

Conner: "Doesn't matter."

He says with a emotionless voice. You try to wrap your head around how he was able to get up here so fast. It has only been a few minutes from when the alarm went off and the news sent news drones to record the scene that took place at the F.U.R tower.

Even if you didn't know how exactly Conner was able to move and react so fast, that didn't really matter... He held a gun in his right hand. Holding it tightly while the rain hits his fur. Amd perhaps cooling off the burn mark on his face.

Amber: "What's going on?"

Densantra: "It's Conner."

Amber: "What!? How... Oh that piece of fucking shit!"

You hear Amber getting furious over the earpiece.

Sapphire: "Conner?"

Densantra: "Yep."

Conner holds up his gun in his hand. It wasn't some fancy shock rifle like he had before. It was just a normal pistol which was ready to fire.

He aims the gun up, and aims it at Dome.

Conner: "Drop it Dome."

He orders Dome to drop his launcher weapon which he named the HL-20.

Sapphire: "Do whatever he says Dome!"

Dome pauses for a moment. He seems to be pondering. The expression on his visor alone told you that he was thinking about something.

Dome eventually slowly lays the HL-20 on the wet ground. Before standing back up and making his hands visible.

You were caught out in the open on the bridge. You're only hope was either the tower behind you, Or the man front of you.

Conner: "Do you see me Dome?"

The way he spoke didn't sound angry... Net yet anyways.

Conner: "Look at me. Do you see me?"

You all stare at Conner as he continues to keep the gun pointed at Dome. He had nothing protecting his head from the rain. The large burn on the side of his face was made more obvious now.

Conner: "Do you see why you did to me?"

He asks. Your body shakes, not just form the cold wind and rain.. but from the possibility of getting shot. It's not like you had a lot of options to run towards. Conner will shoot you if you tried anything... So you keep your hands visible for him.

Conner: "ANSWER ME!"

He suddenly shouts.

Dome: "Conner. You really don't want to do this."

Dome tries to reason with him. It was clearly your only best option as of right now.

Conner: "After so long... So many times I've tried to find you....."

His breathing was heavy as he spoke... But then he lets out a small laugh.

Conner: "It's finally over."
