"Wanna join?" Brandon asked me.

Hell yeah!

I nodded. He turned and walked towards the stairs. I followed him silently. That was an unexpected progress. He asked me to join him, not the other way around. I could kiss him right now. Woah! I gotta control myself. Poker face.

I noticed he was wearing a sweater that was two or three sizes bigger than him. I realized that every time I saw him, he was wearing something oversized. Maybe that's just his style. He looked cute, whatsoever.

He climbed the stairs to the last floor. He was heading to an obviously abandoned door. Is that the rooftop?

"How did you find this place?" I was genuinely wondering.

"Seniority." He scoffed. Yeah, right.

He went through the door, and I followed him anyway. We walked a few steps till we reached the far end of the rooftop. It was showing the whole parking area. My truck was there.

Brandon headed to a wricked old table with a few of the same poor shaped chairs around it and sat down. He looked at me to join him, so I did.

"Do you always come here?" I asked him, looking around. He nodded. "It's quite." He shrugged. I nodded in understanding.

He opened his bag and grabbed a small box, landing it on the table. He grabbed a small fork and opened the box, and started to eat whatever looked like fruit pieces in it. He survives on that! No wonder he's that skinny.

"It that your lunch?" I was questioning his sanity at the moment. He looked at me as if I was asking weird questions. He nodded casually. "Yeah."

I sighed. I opened my backpack and grabbed a bag of two sandwiches in it that I had prepared this morning. "Here. Eat this."

"What's that?" He gazed me all dumbfounded.

"Something that you could survive on!"

"I'm not taking your lunch. I have mine."

"Whatever you're eating, you can't call this lunch, okay? Plus, I already ate. You need this more than I do."

He was frowning, staring at me. "Do you even know how weird you sound right now?"

"What do you mean?"

"Do you wanna be my boyfriend?"

"What?" Oh! My eyes widened. I didn't see that coming.

He rolled his eyes. "I'm not asking you to be my boyfriend, I'm asking you if this is your intuition." He explained.

"Oh! Um! I... um!" I stuttered. He took me by surprise!

He slapped my shoulder. "Relax! I'm kidding." He took the sandwiches. "But seriously, stop doing weird things, like taking care of me. I don't even know you. Nor you know me, too."

"What do you want to know?" I straightened up in my seat.

He shrugged. "I don't know." He took a bite from the sandwich. He moaned. "Umm! That's really delicious. You made that?"

I smiled at the scene before me. "I did, yeah. I like to cook sometimes."

"That's a first!" I could tell he raised his eyebrows even though they were barely seen from his long curls.

"How come?"

"A handsome high school student who likes to cook. Interesting!" He scoffed.

I smiled at how adorable he was behaving. He was doing everything in tiny.
