Jimmy POV
***
I drove Brandon home after those amazing hours we spent together.
The whole way back to his house, he was talking to me, but I barely heard a word. When I parked in front of his house, he poked my shoulder.
"Jimmy! Are you even listening to me?" He said, bringing me back to earth.
"Yeah. I was listening. Are you okay?" I lied, just like that.
"Yeah, right. You were zoning out the whole time since we left your place. I should be asking that."
I faked a smile and leaned forward for a kiss. "I'm just sad that you're going home. I miss you already." I whined, kissing his neck.
He giggled. "Stop! I know your car is a non see through, but still." He released a gasp. "I need to sleep, though. You drained me."
"Ugh! Sorry about that. Get some rest and call me when you're up, okay?" I let go of him.
He nodded and grinned at me before he got off the car, walking toward the front door. He waved goodbye, so I waved back.
I drove away, not realizing how fast I was going. My head was totally out of it. I went back to every single thing we did today.
The feelings were rushing back all at once. My grib tightened on the wheel.
"Fuck!"
I had to pull over. I was breathing heavily. I felt my heart being squeezed inside my chest.
"I'm sorry, baby." My tears found their way out. "Uh! Fuck!"
His words kept repeating like a record inside my head. It's painful as fuck.
He got punished and tortured. He hurt himself because of a fucking mistake I did. Knowing that I was the reason for his misery was enough to break the shit out of me!
He even said he felt safe with me. What have I done!
I managed to hold my tears, but It took me a while to control my heartbeat.
My phone rang with a text, startling me. I picked it up and opened it to find a message from Brandon.
Beandon: Text me when you get home safe. Love you. X
I almost lost it again, but I managed to text him back.
Jimmy: I will. Love you more. xx
I threw the phone aside and drove again, heading home. This time, I'm gonna make amends for what I did. I will treat Brandon the way he should be treated. With love and nothing but love.
When I got home, I texted him but got no reply back. He must be asleep. I went to the kitchen to get me a cop of coffee. My head felt like a million bells were ringing in there.
"Welcome home, finally." My mom said, making me flinch before I could catch the coffee bot.
"Fuck!" I bend over the kitchen island, catching my breath.
"Language!" She chuckled.
"What are you doing here in the middle of the afternoon? Don't you have a yoga class or something?" I furrowed at her.
She was sitting on the dining table, having coffee. The sun was reflecting on her freshly dyed blonde hair. She put the magazine she was reading down and focused on me the minute I entered the kitchen. She kept smirking the whole time.
"Nope, don't even try." She raised her eyebrows, enjoying torturing me. "Where have you been all night, Jim Jim? Because don't try to convince me that you went to school looking like this."
