They all gathered in the auditorium where they anticipated the announcement of the Club's Election. Everyone spent an hour and a half to vote for the next President of the CAPES Club. Most of the students are expecting Arthur to sweep the voting, but little did they know that Aurea was also competing against the current Club President.
"This makes me so nervous," Malcolm said, fixing his posture on the seat. Napakunot ang noo ni Lockey nang nilingon ang kaibigan.
"Why? It's just an election. Is it really kind of a big deal?"
"It is," pagsagot naman ni Simon sa kabilang banda na kinauupuan ni Lockey. Tumapon sa kanya ang atensyon ng dalawang kaibigan. "When Arthur wins the Club Election, he'll come up with rules that would be against some other students. Just like last year when he won, he proposed that if a student were caught using their abilities in a cheating manner, that person would have to do the bathroom cleaning duty for six months."
"That doesn't sound bad," Lockey commented.
"Well, he was caught," Malcolm pointed out. "But not in a bad way. Arthur just imposed it was a cheating incident."
"Yeah, that bastard." Ngisi nito saka napailing na lamang.
Sooner than they expected, the auditorium is filled with students waiting for the results to come out. Napuno ng iba't ibang usapan ang loob ng solid. Maraming gusto na si Arthur pa rin ang manalo at maging Club President para sa susunod na tao pero maraming may gusto na si Aurea naman ang pumalit dito.
Mayamaya lamang ay natigilan ang lahat nang umakyat sa stage si Sir Gregory. Itinuon ng karamihan ang kanilang atensyon sa guro.
"I would like to thank everyone for joining us today, and as you may have known, we allotted this time of the day to elect our new Club President. In regard to that, I would like to call in our two competing students for the role of Club President. Aurea and Arthur, please come and join me on the stage."
Aurea and Arthur came from backstage and they stood in the center waving their hands to everyone in the auditorium. After they were introduced, they sat next to each other on the chair placed in the center of the stage. Aurea wasn't big on her campaigns, but Arthur actively engaged with a lot of students, especially those people who found him very alluring.
"He's still a dumbass if he wins," Simon uttered.
"I've never seen what he can do. What ability does he have?"
"Face card," Malcolm said. "He uses his charm to allure people, make them fall for his antics and all. Looks can definitely kill when you look at him. He was gorgeous they said, but that face could also kill you. I've never seen him used to anyone else yet, but people say that it was dangerous."
"And that's also I believe why he kept winning this election," Simon said. "Isang malaking budol 'tong si Arthur."
