Days passed, and everything inside the academy had returned to normal—that's what they thought. Lockey kept the information he found by himself. He wasn't sure if telling what he knew to the academy staff would help him investigate what was going on, but until that day came, he only got himself for it.
The event in the auditorium last time was cut off due to an incident that made the whole building panicked, it was never continued. The announcement of Arthur winning the Club Election was postponed a few days after the higher staff amended a strict regulation within the premises from the past few days. Now, Arthur himself proudly brought the pride of winning the Club Election knowing that it was a few steps closer to the headmaster of the CAPES.
"I really think Aurea deserves to win the election if it wasn't for his tricks—" Malcolm muttered.
"His tricks?" Simon asked. "You know he always does that. No one just believes it."
"I think he'll be a great Club President," ani Lockey. Sabay na napatingin ang dalawa sa kanya at kumunot ang mga noo. "Don't give me that look, guys. I haven't known Arthur for a long time and I haven't seen him work as a Club President, but only heard nice things when I got here. . . I still think he's quite fit for the role."
Napailing naman si Simon. "His ego would be flying into outer space if you would say that to him in person. He was such an arrogant person. He's got a pretty face, check, but personality-wise, that's his downfall."
Lockey shrugged his shoulder off. "We'll see that. . . Maybe he has better plans now and rules."
Napangisi si Malcolm. "That we'll see about."
"Tell me something you don't say, Lockey," Simon said, taking Lockey aback from his statement. "It seems like you were so quiet this past week. During your training, you don't give out too much of your strength. . . Just like what you did the other term where you ran on the field for over twenty-five minutes. You were crazy."
"Well, yeah, I tried. I don't think no one can beat that, 'no?" Lockey said.
Simon laughed. "I don't think Arthur could even outrun you. Do you really believe you've got your father's ability as well? If you think it this way, you could inherit his ability, but I've heard or maybe read somewhere that the offspring could potentially inherit the ability of their father or mother, but with modification, there's a difference. Maybe yours too, right?"
Lockey again shrugged off his shoulder as his response. "I barely know what my father can do. . . All I just know, when he runs, it can't even be seen by the naked eye."
"That was really sick," Malcolm commented. "Back then, I wish I could have an ability like that. . . Like a fire coming out of my hands or creating snow like Crystal. But I'm so happy with my ability. . . I'm also the reason we found you online, well, aside from that Sir Gregory was your teacher back in your school, we did our part."
