After discovering the potential ability he acquired from his late father, Lockey doesn't really know what to feel. He should feel ecstatic that these people were true about him, that he wasn't just a normal boring human. But what comes along with are a lot of responsibilities and threats to his life, especially now that the Summit City's government is looking for him.
There could possibly be other things that matter the most rather than Lockey's ability awakening, but for him, it could be a step for him to discover the truth about everything. Knowing that his father has come to live in the CAPES, he is already one step closer to finding out his father's disappearance. The death of his father put a toll on his life and he will avenge for him, on every ability he has.
It has been a few days since Lockey told his friends and their professor about their new discovery. Lockey met their headmaster again to talk about his new ability. Hindi pa nila alam kung anong mga kakayahan ni Lockey maliban sa pagkawala ng kuryente kapag lumalabas ang naturang abilidad nito. Walang siguraduhan kung ang abilidad niya ay katulad ng kanyang ama.

"Lockey, tawag ka ni Sir Gregory sa office niya," pagtawag ni Aurea sa kanya. Napakunot naman ang noo ng dalaga ng makalapit ang binata sa kanya. "May nagawa ka, 'no? May hindi kayo sinasabi sa akin nina Simon at Malcolm. I'll float you guys if you wouldn't keep me in the loop."
Napakamot ng ulo si Lockey. "I'll tell you when it is the right time . . ."
"Okay." Kibit balikat na sagot ni Aurea. "Now, go to Sir Gregory's office. Naghihintay na 'yon sa 'yo."
"Thank you."
Lockey finds his way to their professor's office. Humugot pa ito nang malalim na hininga bago ito tuluyang pumasok. He pushed the door by his right hand and entered the room. He saw him raise his head towards him from reading something on his table. Sir Gregory motioned his hand to let Lockey sit on the chair in front of his desk.
Bakas naman ang pangangamba sa mukha ni Lockey. At the back of his mind, he was hoping that he would give him some good news. These past few days, have been hard for Lockey, especially with all the things that have happened. From being a normal high schooler ended up going to a school with students who have unimaginable abilities. He was trying to grasp every good moment out of it, but life had been too hard for him.
"How are you holding up, Lockey?" Sir Gregory started.
Lockey shrugged off. "I don't know, should life get easier?"
"Yeah, I understand." Nagbitaw rin nang malalim na hininga ang kanyang guro. "But I've got a good news for you and I hope that will somehow help you."
Nang sabihin iyon ng kanyang guro ay namutawi ang pag-asa sa mukha niya. Tila'y nagkakulay at nabuhay nang panimulaan ito nang mga salitang inaasam ni Lockey. Napahawak pa ito sa braso ng kinauupuan niya.
