Lockey went straight to his room after being examined in the observatory room, for what he had gone through, it wasn't extensive research, but a way for them to determine what happened to him right after the coma. Especially, Lockey waking up with an ability to move fast—just like his father did.
When he entered the room, he found Klein slouching on the side of his bed. Nagulat pa ito dahil inaasahan niya na mananatili pa ito sa observatory room.
"How are you, Lockey?" he asked, closed the book he was reading and then placed it on the bedside table, and sat on the bed.
"I'm good," tipid na sagot naman ng kaibigan. "I actually feeling a lot of energy right now so I think I might go ahead outside."
"Are you sure?" Klein asked, wondering. Tumango na lamang si Lockey sa kanya. "Okay. . ."
He watched Lockey change his clothes and look at himself in the mirror. After a quick moment, he left the room telling his roommate he would be just at the field. At that moment, Klein started wondering if there was something wrong with his friend. He tried to wash it out of his head and put his attention back on reading the book he picked in the library earlier this morning.
Trying to put his focus on what he was reading, it all came into baffling thoughts when his mind flew to what he encountered with Lockey just a moment ago. Dahil hindi na mapakali si Klein ay nagbihis lang ito saglit at lumabas ng kwarto. Kanyang tinahak ang kwarto nina Malcolm at Simon pero walang sumasagot sa makailang pagkatok niya sa pinto.
He was about to leave when in time, Simon and Malcolm came to find him knocking on their room.
"'Yo, Klein. What's up?" Simon said.
"I need to talk to the both of you," Klein said.
"About what?"
Before he answered Malcolm, he scanned both ends of the hallways just to see that no one was around. "It's about Lockey and I think there's something wrong with him. . ."
"What do you mean?" Simon questioned, furrowing his brows.
"Can we go inside? I think it's better to talk it in a private space."
"Sure, come on in," Malcolm said.
Malcolm opened the door and Klein followed behind him while Simon closed the door behind them. Malcolm sat on his chair while Simon crossed his arms and leaned on the wall while Klein stood just a few steps away from them.
"What do you want to talk about, Lockey?" Simon asked. "He just went into your room, right? Does he know you were here?"
Klein shook his head. "No. He left before I got here. He went to the field he said he was feeling a lot of energy with him. I understand what he meant by that because his ability was powered by electricity or whatever. . . The only concern I needed to say was that, that Lockey we were speaking with wasn't Lockey."
