Lockey tried to explain himself to the man interrogating his existence, but the man who kept questioning him was so confused he didn't believe any word he said. On the other hand, he couldn't think he was talking to a younger version of his father who had no idea who he was.
"How could you travel through time? If I couldn't do it, then how could you?" Oscar, who likely called himself as Ozzie, asked Lockey.
"Yet," Lockey corrected. "You couldn't do it yet, but you will when the time comes. I didn't know how I did it, weird to say it, but it just happened. I just did it. I'm still trying to control my ability. For the past seventeen years, I finally got it. . . Ten years after. . ."
"Ten years after what?" Ozzie questioned, but Lockey couldn't say a single word about it. Ozzie grunted, shaking his head. "Whatever. . . What do you want? What did you come here for?"
"I didn't come here for anything," Lockey said honestly, but Ozzie's face still wondered who this man was. He was suspicious of his behavior, especially since they had similar attributes on their faces.
At the back of his mind, Ozzie thought he was seeing himself in front of the mirror. But he couldn't just believe what he was seeing since someone might probably disguising as someone else and trying to attack them. He made the right decision to lock this person in a room and tie him up so he wouldn't run elsewhere. But he couldn't just call the others and let them know about capturing Lockey since he just looked like him.
"Don't lie into my face, just tell me the truth and I'll probably let you go," Ozzie said.
"I'm not lying to you," Lockey said, defending his reason. "I'm telling you the truth. My name is Lachlan Chapman, I am seventeen years old, turning eighteen soon. . . My mother is. . ."
"Tell me. Tell the name of the mother. . ."
Lockey shook his head. "I can't. . . You haven't met her yet. . . Oh shit. . . I shouldn't have said that. But believe me, I didn't come here to make any trouble because I have no interest in doing that. In my time, year 2021, I need to get back to my time because the world is in chaos. . ."
Ozzie smirked, shaking his head. "The world doesn't seem cruel."
"You will know what I am talking about when the time comes, but can you help me get back in my time?"
Ozzie laughed. "I'm not sure I would be the right person for you to ask for some help. I don't even know how to travel through time which you said you did. Or maybe you were just trying to fool me over, huh?"
