3 Months have passed since young Izuku first started "Dreaming". His mom found out about these dreams and it seems to her its a combat memory? It's not like she's a quirk expert you know, they're gonna go to the Doctor Yoshimi tomorrow anyway.

Meanwhile, Izuku had been having the same dream once every week. Each time the dream would be the same, but different. No change in the scenery or the words spoken, just the way the battle was fought.

Wolf / Izuku felt sharper with each mistake he made, every time he made an error, he immediately corrected and compensated for. Any major wound he gained he would recover with a part of his quirk?

(A/N - I'm making it so that the healing gourd is a part of Midoriya's quirk [ Dragon's Blood ] to not cause inconsistencies within the story.)

It didn't matter now, he needed to beat Genichiro to pass this stage of the memory / dream.

At the beginning of battling Genichiro, when his memories first started, he was trying to read the swings of his sword. This proved slow and inefficient.

So he slowly integrated trying to read his torso instead of his hands, the twitches of his muscles instead of the blade. The gigantic bow on his back? Honestly not much to worry about, the draw was heavy so the each move was telegraphed and easy to evade, not even worth trying to parry.

Now this was it. He was almost there now, to the promised land. Genichiro was wounded heavily, panting and his breath shaken. Just a bit more pressure and he would crack.

'There's something cutting the wind behind me. TURN.'

And turn he did, a shuriken aimed right at his head which he immediately parried, however this massive opening gave Genichiro what he needed to strike.Wolf quickly turned around, when he did, his arm was cut off.

Izuku woke up in tandem to losing his arm, and was frustrated.

"All that progress in besting him, only to get double teamed on? I suppose this isn't a life of honor anymore."

He got out of his bed and looked at the clock in his room, it was the same as every morning, 5 am. It took him 15 minutes to get done with his morning duties.

He got to his sword swings before having breakfast. Bokken in his right hand he, started with the single-handed sword style Wolf used.
His strikes were precise and held as much strength as his 5 year old body could hold.

After an hour, the sun was almost exiting the horizon, it being later than usual signified the winter. Well it would, if there was no snow.

Dusting himself off, Izuku made his way into the kitchen, made himself some oatmeal since his mom said "Cereals are poison! Now that you've started training, stick to oatmeal!" and so he did, his mom's word was law so far as he was concerned.

A rattle could be heard on his mom's door.

'No music today, she never liked the winter did she? We're opposites in that regard. Wait. Did I hear her door opening? The kitchen is far from her room that's upstairs, hmmm, must be cause of the battle memory.'

'Heightened senses, faster reflection action? I wonder how far I can go with memories alone. The checkup with Yoshimi-Sensei was today at 9:30 AM? Shouldn't take too long I suppose, last one took like 20 minutes at the maximum.'

"Always the early bird hmm, Izuku?" asked Inko whilst rubbing her eyes.

"Of course, I adore the winter unlike you." Replied Izuku.

"I don't get what's so nice about the cold you know. Makes getting out of the bed all the more harder." Inko said with a yawn.

"Well, take the summer for example, it's sticky and hot, there's nothing you can do besides turning the a/c on in your home. In the winter however you can put on winter clothes!" Izuku said putting his red hoodie on.

"You know, that would make sense if you wore anything other than hoodies..."

'Well he is only 5 now, maybe his taste will change over time.' she though in worry.

"I would if anything else felt so nice." Said young Izuku with a pout.

"Oh whatever, we leave in thirty minutes now, I trust you've eaten?"

"Yes mom I finished the cardboard meal..."

"Oh hush now oatmeal is healthy." Shutting Izuku's snarky comment down.

'Hmm, has he grown taller? He used to be at my waist just a month ago.. '

"Izuku, can you come here for a bit?"

"Mhmm, sure can!"

"Yep, you've definitely grown taller, almost coming up to my chest now. Pretty surprising honestly."

"Pretty neat, must have something to do with the quirk." stated Izuku.

"Well, Let's leave now, the hospital is about 15 minutes away. We should get there by 9:15."

"The results remain... Inconclusive." Stated Dr. Yoshimi looking about as confused as Inko and her son.

"Doctor? Surely there must be something wrong with the method being used?" Asked Inko rhetorically. Even though her quirk was a powerful mental quirk, it didn't take this long to find out what it was.

"Trust me Ms. Midoriya our team is just as confused as you are. We have a solution, but no answer. You can come back once Izuku is 15 years of age. Maybe it's a quirk that requires his body to be at a certain point? That would explain his sudden spurt of growth."

'I don't get it. I don't understand at all. In my 25 years of working here that machine has been updated more than my computer back home. How can it be this confused? Seriously it's almost the year 2324.' Thought Yoshimi.

"Seriously? I suppose that's plausible..." said Inko.

"Oh well, mom I'm getting bored here we've sat here for like an hour already waiting for the stupid machine to work!"

"We apologize for the inconvenience we've caused for our gross incompetence, I'm extremely sorry but that is the only solution we have in our books." Said Dr. Yoshimi with a 90 degree bow.

"It's quite alright. Thankfully our home is only a 15 minute walk from here. We don't mind, don't we Izu-chan?"

"Mhmm, yeah it's fine even All-Might can't save everyone you know. Besides it's not like it's your fault. You tried your best. Ya win some ya lose some."

'The kid's surprisingly mature... weird I thought for sure he would throw a tantrum. What a sweet kid.' Thought Yoshimi, all too used to dealing with children being brats.

"Thank you very much for your understanding. Here, kid candy for you." Handing a blueberry jelly for the kid to grab.

"Thanks Sensei!"

A/N: Nagant will be introduced in 3 chapter's if I've got everything sorted out in my head. I'll slowly start introducing more characters into the AU. Also if you guys reading this find any discrepancies in the plot, do feel free to comment. This is my first ever story I've written.

Also about the Dragon's blood, I've given it a regenerative property, in order to even out the reload feature in the game. He'll be getting Dragon's Blood soon too. 2 chapter's, again, if everything's sorted in my head.

Potato out.

FUTURE AN: NAGANT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT INTRODUCED THIS EARLY!!

I was stupid about the time, please forgive my shortsightedness.
