As the detective sat down, the only thing Izuku could think about was how plain he looked. Plain hat, plain coat, plain suit, plain black hair. Nothing about him sticking out, he blends almost perfectly into a crowd, probably.

The man spoke up.

"I'm Tsukauchi Naomasa, senior detective at Musutafu Police Department. Pleasure meeting you." He bowed before he sat down.

Izuku was absolutely not fond of cops.

"Do we need a lawyer here?" He asked.

"Since you're a minor, a parent being here is enough." Naomasa said... wait Naomasa? The owner of the cafe?

"I don't trust police easily." Izuku said.

The man's brow rises, noting something down in his notepad.

"Peculiar, why not?" Naomasa asked.

"Most of you like closing cases, how you do it is completely irrelevant to you. Frankly, it disgusts me." Izuku said plainly.

His mother winces, clearly understanding what he was talking about.

How did he know about those things?

Izuku had clearly read her face, but chose not to answer. So she tries to clear the Detective.

"Izuku it's okay, I've worked with him before." Inko tried reassuring him.

"No, the boy's right. Being distrustful in this day and age is more reasonable than the other way around."

If the man was trying to get Izuku to lower his guard, he would have to try harder.

"In any case, I've come here to confirm the details of what happened in that alley. We already have footage, but getting the statement of a victim is integral to the report." He said.

Izuku let out a quick sigh before he explained for what felt like the 8th time that day.

"Well, there were 2 perps. One warper, smoggy purplish of countenance, formal of speech. The other was a man, maybe a foot shorter than I am, blinder quirk, wore a mask and suit that covered him completely. Didn't speak."

"How did it start?" Naomasa asked, noting down everything he said.

"Well, I was on my way to the station, when I noticed something was off, like I was in a huge but confined box. I released aura-"

"What?" Inko interrupted.

"Energy, enhanced energy that exists within the body, every person has it, and I've been training it for almost 5 years now." he explained.

"So as I was saying, I released a short burst of aura to break through the theoretical box, and instantly I was warped somewhere else. Soon after, I was jumped by the blinder, the warper made his exit. The fight was pretty short, lasted about 20 minutes, we both ended up dying."

Izuku spoke in complete recollection of everything that had happened, his confidence evident in his tone.

"I'm sorry?" Naomasa asked now confused.

"You saw the footage right? Did you not see my body at rest with a sword through my stomach?" Izuku asked with his brow raised.

"I didn't have much time to look at the footage. Wait I'll pull it up now."

"What. No. It's really disturbing if I had to guess. Mom dont watch this." Izuku said franctic.

"It's okay dear. We're all heroes here." Inko reassuringly reminded him.

"Right. Of course. Do they have audio?" Izuku asked Naomasa.

"Of course." He said pulling up his laptop from his bag.
