Izuku had borrowed the class to lecture the students about their suits. Now was the best time since after the festival, internships would begin.
The atmosphere in the classroom was uncertain, the students waited for Izuku to begin explaining why he borrowed the room and held an extra class.
He had borrowed the class with his background as a Teaching Assistant, during his ph.D.
"Now, then. I'll be beginning with why I called you here. You'll also understand why I asked Aizawa to make this lecture mandatory." He says, taking the podium.
"All of you are to revise your costumes, besides Momo and Shinsou, who I've already spoken with." He said, anticipating an unsavory response.
The class uproared.
"Why do you expe-"
"Who the hell do you-"
And so on were heard. Izuku was no fan of wasting time, especially in this case since he had a simple hour.
He bangs his hand on the desk.
"Silence! I am not here to waste my time, consider the implications I am about to highlight." Izuku yells.
"First: Most of you aren't wearing any armour. Instant No- fashion is secondary to utility. All those that have exposed vital areas, including the neck, are to revise their costumes." Izuku explains.
"Again- these are crucial to your own safety, if you value your life over your looks, make the damn changes- You know who you are." Izuku looks at a few students.
"Two: No heels for the ladies- or men- I don't judge, footing is the most important thing when doing anything standing up. Fall headfirst anywhere, you're likely dead, or heavily injured." He goes on.
"Three: Nothing that obstructs eyesight, or changes your vision- like tinted glasses, clunky headgear and so on. Vision is almost as important as your footing." He says, looking at Uraraka and Kaminari.
"Wait- don't other heroes do a lot of the things you're telling us not to?" Kaminari interrupts.
"If an accomplished person does something wrong, does that make that thing right?" Izuku counters.
"No, it doesn't." Kaminari says, sitting down.
"Midoriya, my quirk already acts as an armour, do I really have to change my suit?" Kirishima asks.
'Do none of these guys have a brain?' Izuku thinks to himself.
"Tell me, when you're getting shot in the chest repeatedly, would you rather have two plates of armour or one?" Izuku explains, without judgement.
"Two?- Oh I see now." Kirishima sits down.
"This last one is optional, but just as important in my personal opinion: Do not use bright colors if you can help it- stick to plain black or just camouflage if you must." Izuku finishes.
"Stealth is pretty important when considering night patrols or missions, for example, red is seen clearly due to it's high wavelength and low dispersion. If anything, use extremely dark shades, if you're planning on using bright colors." He explains.
The class calms down and reasonably thinks about the points strewn across.
"Now, you're probably wondering why I made this lecture an hour long." He begins.
"You'll be making your costumes, from scratch. Start at black and white, no colors. You can use my blueprints as the base." He pulls up a hologram.
"Can we not do this later?" Sero asks.
