'Alright.' Izuku thought as he got ready for school. After getting the uniform and the (mostly useless) books, customary school bag, he was prepared to leave. Already done with his morning routine, he had ample time to reach school.
Surely his first day would be great.
His first day was not great.
'Pompous fucking brats.' he thought as he walked to the train station.
'What do you expect? They're rich kids with their lives preset by their parents.'
Shura said.'Yeah, I didn't expect much but still. I didn't think every single one of them would just talk about how rich their parents are the entire time. Oh well, at least the girl in the ponytails was fine.'
He didn't know her name, but beside him she was the only one that sat quietly instead of engaging in social activities with the morons.
God do none of these guys have personalities? Maybe he'd find someone to talk to soon. Well, besides people 20 years older than him anyway. He was looking forward to talking to Aizawa today, maybe he'd take the edge of off dealing with brats.
Apparently the owner was the father of Detective Tsukauchi. What an odd coincidence. Hearing the familiar jingle of the bells as he walked into the cafe, spotting Aizawa at their usual table. As Aizawa waved at him he noticed a shiny little spot on his left finger.
"How was school?" Aizawa asked.
"Not relevant. You got engaged?" Izuku asked dismissing the subject for now.
"Oh, right the ring. Yeah I did." Aizawa refused to continue further.
"Please, I already know about you and blondie, you have him as your homescreen for God's sake. You aren't exactly subtle." Izuku said.
"You- You saw." Aizawa looked startled for a second.
"No shit dude. You have blond hair in yours sometimes. In any case, congratulations are in order. Though I have no idea how you got someone stuck to your absolutely unbearable personality but I hope they remain sane." Izuku said.
"I take offense to that, disrespectful brat. I'll have you know I'm very likable." Aizawa said, mock anger seeping on his face.
"You? Likeable? I must've gotten to know the wrong Aizawa.... In any case though, congratulations on getting engaged. Who is it by the way?" Izuku asked.
"Hizashi Yamada, you might know him as Present Mic." Aizawa said.
"Seriously? Man he looks different in off duty huh?"
As they talked about each other's (mostly Aizawa's) domestic home life, and when the wedding was. Izuku hoped he could go, since the wedding was set some time during the final exams of his 1st year, but it'd mostly be no trouble, he was far ahead into grade 11 studies now.
x-X-x
2 months. 2 months had passed and he didn't find a single moment to talk to the ponytail girl. She was a model student, ate a home lunch (he wasn't going to mention the size of it) alone and quickly, so they usually couldnt go to the cafeteria.
She left right after school, seemingly disappearing into thin air. Oh well, maybe some other time, he'd have to deal with some random guy bragging about his dad's third car or something, he wasn't really paying attention in school anymore.
The accelerated learning program, which he thought would be at least entertaining, ended up a waste of time. The lecturers were boring, old people that just had to give him assignments because the entire school staff knew he was ahead on everything.
