Izuku's boots clicked against the marble floor of the hallways as he walked to Power Loader's workshop, the usual place Mei worked at.
Momo and Kaminari are beside him, and Uraraka at the extremity.
"What did you guys need?" Izuku asks, wondering why there was a band of people near him.
"Dude, you came here without even saying anything. Not cool." Kaminari says, smacking him on his back.
"I would've left without saying anything as well. I'm here to get something and go." Izuku says, continuing to walk.
"Then I'm glad Uraraka found you, I'm heading over to check on a few conductive discs and a metal staff." Kaminari provides.
"It is quite cold of you to leave without even offering a greeting, Izuku." Momo chastises.
Izuku hums, "Yeah well, I say hi I get stopped, someone asks me if I wanna eat- yadda yadda. It's a lot of wasted time, I gotta go home and start training." He says.
"You need training? I'm surprised you even have something to work on." Uraraka says, her tone surprised.
"Just a few things. You can never be too careful." Izuku says, vaguely.
"So, what did you two need?" He says to Momo and Uraraka.
"I was wondering if the changes to my suit were finished, I changed the latex to something else." Uraraka says.
"I had my dictionary swapped out for a holographic bracelet and switched out the velcro material on my suit for something more durable." Momo answers.
"And what are you heading there for?" Kaminari asks.
"Just to go over something with Mei." He says.
"If you're using her first name... Is she your girlfriend?" Uraraka deduces.
They've almost reached the workshop.
Izuku raises a brow, incredulously he says, "What? No, I don't have the time for a significant other."
Granted, he was pretty close with Mei and her family, since he'd go over back in the day to learn how to maintain his weapons.
Mei was pretty interested in the use of his prosthetic tools and he was in turn interested in the making of support gear. It's majorly how he learned to code.
They'd become fast friends over time. He was also pretty sure she wasn't romantically interested in him. If she was, she hadn't shown it.
Right on cue, the door blasts open, smoke entering the hallway.
Izuku is the first to notice Mei literally flying out of the room. Moving on instinct, he grabs her.
There's smoke obscuring her sight as she speaks, "I recognize those lovely tits." she says, feeling up his chest.
Izuku sighs, "I know you like feeling my muscles but now is not the time- and they're called pecs." He says.
"Not your girlfriend, huh?" Uraraka says, raising a brow.
The three had questioning looks on their faces.
"Oh for fuck's sake." He says, putting her down, there's a slight pout on her lips as he does.
"Your friends?" Mei asks, Izuku nods.
"You've handled a bunch of their requests before." He provides.
As if that would refresh her memory.
"Ah yes." She nods, not remembering them at all, "I remember a bunch of you from the festival," She lied, "Come inside."
