Izuku is humming a tone, folding butter sheets into his croissant dough.

Kaina is watching him with concentration. Extreme concentration.

S̶h̶e̶ w̶a̶s̶ t̶o̶t̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ n̶o̶t̶ l̶o̶o̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ a̶t̶ h̶i̶s̶ f̶o̶r̶e̶a̶r̶m̶s̶ t̶h̶a̶t̶ b̶u̶l̶g̶e̶d̶ o̶u̶t̶ o̶f̶ h̶i̶s̶ r̶o̶l̶l̶e̶d̶ u̶p̶ s̶l̶e̶e̶v̶e̶s̶.

Izuku finishes up with the batch of dough and looks to Kaina.

"It looks pretty easy, but you're bound to mess it up the first time." Izuku says, looking at her.

She seemed dazed.

"Tsutsumi-san?" He waved his hand over her face.

"O-oh. Yeah got it." She nodded.

She begins making her patch of dough.

"By the way, isn't the UA sports festival soon?" She asks, kneading away.

"Oh yeah... it is." He says, cutting the dough into long pizza shapes.

"Shouldn't you be worried?" She asks.

"Ah, that reminds me, I need to get my sword picked up later this evening." He says nonchalantly.

"...." Kaina opts to simply look at him.

She doubted he had any reason to worry, but still, to carelessly tutor someone at baking of all things before an important event was...

"Speaking of the festival, do you want to come watch?" Izuku asks her, rolling the pizza cuts into a croissant.

"Won't people from the association be there?" She asks, uncertain.

"Ah, shoot you're probably right. Maybe just the TV then?" He says, embarrassed.

"Yep, just the TV." She says.

It was fine, really. Working as a sniper made her dislike crowds, them being prime assassination spots.

"Now, we rest the dough." He says.

Nagant hasn't even finished folding her butter in yet.

She looks to him for help.

Izuku watches her, staring at him.

"Help?" She asks.

"No, I quite like seeing you look confused." He says smugly.

"You have a bad personality, please fix it." Kaina says, sticking out her tongue.

After helping Kaina with her dough, he heads out to get his sword again.

The next morning, he meets up with Shinsou, who is a nervous wreck due to the upcoming event.

They share curt nods and both walk towards the campus.

It was early, Six in the morning to be precise. Students were to arrive before 7 a.m. and make their way to the stadium at 9 a.m.

They needed to arrive early for routine checks, uniforms, health, etc.

"I get that you're my teacher and all, but was it fine to spend the last two days doing nothing?" He asked, anxiously.

Izuku takes a good look at Shinsou, before answering the question.

"Shinsou, I capped out the written test and the physical test, do you think I was spending the last two days working my ass off for that result?" He asks, trying to provoke his thinking.

"You weren't?" Shinsou asks.

"No. All the work that I needed to do, I did after finishing high school, would two days change the end result?" He replies.
