TW: light light light smut but not really

(Do we want actual smut with Luka, yes or no?)

also I low key miss vector so we bringing him back soon.

_

I knew Luka could sense something was off. Everytime we got close to you know, I'd develop some kind of illness or unfortunate problem that had to be attended to. It wasn't that I didn't like him – he was starting to grow on me, the way that slime sticks to you like glue and you can't shake it off. And I meant that in the nicest way possible.

Luka lay on my bed, listening to music while I studied. There was a chill in the air, and not the metaphorical kind. Winter had finally broken loose, covering my window with frost so that it matched my heart.

To make matters worse, Mom told me about this guy she's been seeing. Obviously Seth. She didn't tell me his name, but the way she talked about him...if I didn't know who it was, I would've thought he was an angel fallen from the sky.

Mom described him as quiet, but thoughtful, and the type of brilliant mind who could invent time travel or some shit.

Seth for that matter – he was never that great, but I guess even Hitler could talk his way into making you think a brick was a cake. Manipulation works like that.

Luka looked over at me, in his quiet way. An unfathomable expression had crossed his face and his blue eyes were clouded with a fog of thoughts that I couldn't read.

"Hey," he said tentatively, putting his book down. "I was thinking about...you know....the situation with you and your Mom."

I'd told him that she was seeing some guy I hated. "Maybe you should talk to your Mom about this guy, and tell her how you feel." He covered my hand with his.

His hand was so large that it completely engulfed mine. Warmth seeped into my fingertips but his kind gesture made me want to tear away. Why am I like this?

I shook the feeling. We'd been dating for a couple of months. One hand hold shouldn't have been a problem.

"I don't think that's a good idea," I replied. "She won't listen to me. She didn't last time." I muttered the last part under my breath but he must've heard me.

"Last time?"

"Oh...I mean–" Obviously I couldn't say that I'd lived this timeline before. "When she's dated other guys."

"Right." Luka chewed on his lip as if he was actually thinking about my problems. "Well, maybe–"

"I don't really want to talk about it," I cut him off, and then cleared my throat – realizing how rude I sounded. I blinked slowly. "I mean. There's other things we could do instead of talking."

Luka raised his eyebrows in surprise. He slowly reached forward, brushing a hair out of my eye. His eyes studied me, slightly curiously.

"Yeah?"

I leaned forward, pressing my lips to his. They were soft and tasted like mint. His hands were careful and tentative.

Luka was a very  good kisser; sweet in a romantic way. He caught my bottom lip between his teeth for a millisecond, before moving behind my ear.  I could feel his eyelashes (yes he does have them), fluttering against my face.

With the caution of handling an injured bird, he placed his hand on the side of my face. His fingertips were slightly rough and calloused, but it felt good dragging across my skin.

Luka sat up slowly, still kissing me as he leaned against my headboard. I shifted so that I was sitting on top of him, straddling his hips under mine.

When he deepened the kiss, it was like my senses melted away and I wasn't thinking about anything. My lips parted to let a slow breath escape. His other hand coiled around my back, sliding up to the side of my ribcage.

A loud alarm sounding on my phone caused me to jump and pull away. Not even a second later, there was an even louder knock at the window and the unmistakable deafening screams of citizens probably running for their lives from Hawkmoth's terrors.

The knock came from Chat Noir, whose very angry face was flushed at the window. I yelped and rolled off the bed, landing hard on the ground.

And this is what I mean by 'escalated'. Chat Noir/Adrien appeared to have lost all dignity and even though there were people in clear danger, he just had to arrive at my window to save me. He couldn't have known if I was in danger or not, yet he showed up regardless.

I rolled my eyes as Luka grabbed a pillow to cover himself. I attempted to straighten out my clothes before I opened the window.

"You have to wrong house, Kitty," I retorted as I leaned out to talk to him. "I'm not in any danger so you can go back to chasing after Ladybug." Chat recoiled.

"Oh yeah? I happen to know that it's your Mom who's been akumatized," Chat answered snappily, folding his arms. "Bet you were too busy fucking this guy to notice though."

His flippant remark caused Luka to stand up, confused and on the brink of anger. Because when Chat Noir boiled over — he really boiled over.

"Too far.." I muttered under my breath as Luka joined me at the window.

"Y/N, do you know him?" Luka narrowed his eyes at Chat Noir. "Also, Y/N's mom isn't even home, so how the fuck would she be aware of that akumatization?"

Chat seethed, and I suddenly became aware of the change in his teeth. His incisors were slightly more pointed than a regular human, a feature that must've been an addition to his Miraculous.

"Yeah well, I need to borrow your little girlfriend for a minute, Couffaine; Ladybug wants her help to de-akumatize her Mom,"

The words dawned on him slowly.

I mentally slapped Chat Noir when I realized his mistake.

"How do you know my last name?"
