Tomas' POV

"She is very pretty, she has dark hair with gold streaks and she has green eyes, she has the most beautiful face I have ever seen."

"Tomas please give me the rolls from the table," My mother interrupted us.

"Coming mama. Jerrin You would absolutely love her, she is so kind and when she smiles her yes sparkles"

"Tomas the bread!' mama shouted.

"Oh yes Mama" I took the bread from the counter and brought it to her in the dining room, then returned to Jerrin who was sitting by our old piano.

"What's her name again?" Jerrin asked.

"Her name is Iyanna, she is from Westborn and her family owns the farmlands."

"That means she has no money, Farmland people are normally poor like us," Novleen said.

"Well she is now rich because Parry said she is the new lady of the house," I said.

"Tomas, what did I tell you about gossiping about Valants house?" asked Mama.

"Mama it's not gossiping if I am just trying to find Jerrin a wife."

They all started to laugh.

"Tomas if she is the new lady of the house then it means she will wed Goffery Valant so there is no luck for Jerrin, as handsome as he may be '' My sister said.

"Novleen, she will not wed Mr. Valant."

"How do you know?" she asked.

"Because Parry said she will not and I believe him. So Jerrin, my brother, you stand a chance. Just smile and use your charm."

"What do you know about charm, you little twit?" Novleen asked.

"I know a lot. Anyways Jerrin will you come down to the Valant's Manor with me tomorrow to meet Miss Iyanna."

"I am not sure if I will be able to, we are back up at the vineyard and they need all the help before fall," he said.

I felt a little disappointed.

"You know she doesn't have a phone, maybe you could get her one so you and her could communicate."

"Ok Tomas Manalle, that's not how it works, leave your brother alone and go get washed up for supper," Mama said.

"Fine but Jerrin, remember what I said, she is very pretty and kind, not like Lola Rushpa, she looks like an alligator."

"Tomas!" mama shouted.

"She does mama," Novaleen agreed.

"Don't encourage him. Tomas to get ready for supper, Nova you as well and Jerrin, for the love of Makhail Manelle, shut that old rusty piano down." Mama said, making us laugh.
