Micas' POV

"Is she on that horse without proper gears?" I asked Lowell.

"Seems so sir," he replied.

I watched as she went around the track effortlessly. She was happy, laughing away as the horse galloped under her controls.

"She handles herself well on that horse."

"She does sir."

It did not take a long time for them to come in and I made my way down to the stable to meet them.

She was surprised to see me.

"Miss Brently, this is where I found you?"

"Yes, I was having fun and now it's over. May I help you?" she asked.

"Well since its early mornings I would think The Lady of The House should be doing duties around, you know, the house. That's why you are here right?' I asked.

She walked past me and headed to the stable with the horse. I followed her with Jerrin beinhid me.

"Iyannna, I will put the horse away, it's ok if you have to go" Jerrin.

"I don't have to go anywhere but I will leave you to do your work" she said to him.

"He won't have this job after today," I said.

"What?" she asked.

"You heard me, I want him off my property by the end of the day."

"He didn't do-"

"Iyanna, it's ok." Jerrin said.

"You should address The Lady of the house as Miss Brently, Manelle."

"I am the lady of the house at your house, not his. He can address me as Iyanna," she said.

"It's ok Miss Brently-"

"Don't call me Jerrin, call me Iyanna and he can't fire you."

"Technically he can, but it's ok."

She turned to Jerrin, "You will not lose your job because you did not do anything wrong."

"What makes you think you have any say in what I can and can not do?" I asked her.

"What makes you think you can come here and give orders and be disrespectful to Jerrin who did absolutely nothing to you."

She was getting angry, her face was turning red and her green eyes looked more like mud brown.

"What makes him think that it's safe to have you riding a horse without the proper gears?"

"It was my idea!" she yelled at me.

"And he knew better and now he is out of a job because he thinks it was cool to impress you by putting your life in danger."

"Mr. Valant I don't need your phoney concerns because you are just doing this to get under my skin."

She turned away from me and walked towards Jerrin.

"I am very sorry that I caused all this unnecessary spectacle so early in the morning. I will leave you to do your work and I will see you soon," she said to Jerrin.

She made her way to the car and I followed her. She was pissed and I was pleased. She had no business being up here so early and on a horse at that.

"Are we going back to The Manor?" Lowell asked.

"Yes," I replied.

Iyanna kept her focus on the outside as we made our way back down to the house.

"I did nothing wrong, you could have gotten hurt and he would have been in a lot of trouble."
