Iyanna's POV

I got back to The Manor and my task was to give out instructions for the cleaning of the Vineyard's kitchen.

After that I made my way to my bedroom without being seen by anyone in the house. The pills that Micas gave me I made sure to take one before my foot started to hurt again.

Everything came back to my mind while I laid in bed, literally daydreaming about every moment Micas and I had.

"Oh Godshire" I mumbled. I could feel butterflies in my stomach whenever I remember his face and his lips against mine or his tongue swirling around in my mouth.

"Why did I think kissing was a disgusting sport?" I asked myself.

I held my pillow close to me and screamed into it .During all this bliss I had to remember my family and that I should not be this happy to be here and away from them.

Mera has not returned a note to me, I did find it strange but then again she might be taking me not being home hard, so she may not want to reply just yet.

I might as well make myself busy so I didn't have to think about home or about Micas who is giving me too many feelings that I didn't understand.

***

The kitchen was busy as usual and everyone was surprised to see me when I walked in.

"Iyanna" Good to see you here, Mandell said.

"We thought you had died in that room," Fian uttered with a smirk.

"No we did not. Iyanna come sit here, we are having breakfast," Satte said.

"I don't think she has time to sit right now," Thela said.

"That's ok, I need to catch up on what you guys have planned for the day anyways so I will eat as I go along," I said because Thela was not pleased with me at the moment for whatever reason.

"I hope you got enough rest Miss Brently because we have a very eventful weekend ahead." Thela said.

"Yes we do, Micas' friends are coming into town for the weekend and the following weekend will be Mr. Valants birthday and he is having a masquerade party." Fian said.

"Oh that's the theme this year?" Mandell asked.

"Yes it is and I can't wait," said Fian.

"So I'm guessing we will have busy days ahead preparing for these two weekends right?"

"Yes Iyanna but I promise you it will be fun, it's always fun when there is an event" Satte said.

I smiled at her.

Now I will have to spend my time involuntarily planning events I had no interest in. Fian seemed to be very excited about all this but Satte was blank and I wish I could read her mind instead of asking her questions.

"So when do we start planning for these events again?' I asked.

"We should start today, I will call a meeting before supper." Thela said.

"Isn't that the responsibility forThe Lady of The house?" Fian asked.

She was right but somehow her attitude made me hate that she was.

"It is but I don't mind the help since I don't know where to start."

"Well you should spend less time cooped up into your room and more time learning the duties of The Lady of The House."

"Fian, hush!" Thela said.

"No, that's ok, she is definitely right. So I think she will listen to me when I relieved her of her kitchen duties for the day and send her to the Vineyard's kitchen to assist with cleaning up today?"
