Iyanna's POV

It wasn't so bad after all, I got to learn a lot today in the kitchen, also that Mandell was really hilarious.

"I'm going to the Vineyard with Parry, '' I said to them and like alway the look astonished,

"I will come with you to help," Satte said.

"Well all we need to do now is to pack everything into the van then we can leave."

It wasn't an easy task of packing the food into the van even though it took alot of us to do it.

I got tired so I stood outside and watched as they loaded the Van with crates of secured containers with food.

"Iyanna, could you get the fork from the table?" Satte asked

I almost told her no nut then I remembered that I have to be nice to her because she has been to me.

On my way back I ran into Micas who was leaving the Kitchen. I wish I could have slipped into a corner so he wouldn't have to see me.

"I was looking for you," he said.

No surprises there.

"For?"

"I wanted to show you something inside my father's study, he asked me to show you."

"Well I don't have the time right now, I have to serve lunch."

I tried to pass him but he blocked me," Serve lunch to who?"

"I have to serve lunch to the men at the Vineyard," I said.

He tilted his head to look at me, "Who told you that you had to do that?"

"No one, I volunteered myself. Now could you please excuse me? I need to pick up some forks from the kitchen."

"The Vineyard is not a part of your duties, Miss Brently," he said.

"Does it matter? At least I am working. Isn't that what you want?"

Men, you can't do anything to please them, especially this one.

"What I want is for you to work around the house, it's big enough to keep you budy inside and I didn't say you should lift anything either, just give orders' ' he said.

I really think he wants these people to hate me.

"I'm not so good with giving orders and I work better with my hands," I stretched my hands out to him, he held onto them. I didn't expect him to.

"They are pretty," he said, causing me to pull them from his grip.

"I have to go, they are waiting for me."

"See you when you get back," he said, then stepped to the side so I could pass him. I ran to the kitchen, grabbed the forks, then proceeded to run out of the house.

"Walk, Miss Brently" I heard Micas' thrilling voice say. I didn't even see where he was. I obeyed and walked briskly out of the house.

"What took you so long?" Satte asked.

"I couldn't find them, let's go." I said.

We got to the Vineyard, to my surprise they had a kitchen there. It wasn't as big and fancy as the first Kitchen at the Manor but it was nice.

"Wouldn't it be easier if the meals were prepared here?" I asked.

"Yes and I suggested it since Mrs. Valant used to do it daily but my mother said to do everything at The Manor" Satte said.
