today was the day sankta Aeya sunborn was going to murder Kaz Brekker.

a few hours after his refusal to simply follow the plan practically gifted to him by the conductor, he had dragged both himself and the Targaryen princess around half of Os Alta to look for what he had needed.

his newer idea was to simply sneak inside as a guard and a highborn lady of Dorne before finding his own way to the rest of the crows while she strolled around the little palace collecting intel about the grisha guards and the night's plan.

once inside, he was to wander off on his oprichniki duties to look for where the Ravkan stored their precious sun summoner before reporting to the group who will meet him back inside a circus caravan, one given to Jesper, Inej and Arken to remain in during their stay with the troupe.

Jesper was charged to find their way out, while Inej stayed at his side, posing as a guard as well.

the dragonborn wasn't meant to enter the actual plan until further during the festivities, hidden amongst the guests and arriving with a fake name and fake details. that was truly the easier part, her statue gave her knowledge about all the Westerosi lords and ladies.

crouching down high up on a building away from the staff entries in the back of the Little Palace, she watched as a bunch of caravans rolled inside a rather tight alleyway leading straight to the gate.

although blurily, she could point out the hazy figure of Marko and her two friends, now fully taken by their roles as members of his company, leaning against the wooden trailer dragged by a horse as they silently listened to the main oprichniki talk to their leader about what the rules to follow were.

she squinted slightly, her frown deepening as she carefully scanned the crowd to catch sight of the man who'd originally put her in this situation. he was good at blending in.

she knew that he was under a disguise, one he hated. and with his cane left with her, she should find him easier considering the limp he couldn't hide for long, but saints, the people were craming the entire street up and somehow they all looked alike.

following the distant shouting emerging from the location, she noticed a man held by his feet as he was dragged from under a carriage, shouting and yelling gibberish that she couldn't make sense of.

he was quickly silenced and only then did she finally spot the crow she so intently searched for.

as she watched his expression sour, a quiet chuckle escaped her, her lips pulling down in a smile to keep the sound from reaching any unwanted passer-by simply coming up to visit the roof.

as she stood back to her full height, now sure that they've all succesfully made their way inside, she silently stepped to the hidden side of the building and climbed down, keeping her feet light and herself alert.

emerging from the alleyway, she gripped the crow head tighter as she made her way along the street, eyes studying the ongoers and the doubled number of corporalki lazily scaning the city.

once away from the buzzing of the street, she made her way near the large set of trees surrounding the little palace before carefully disapearing inside.

she knew the hidden secrets that laid inside the palace, she knew every classified entrance by heart and could easily manage her way into it without any help.

Kaz had considered her idea at first, but considering how their group was no longer made of the two of them, he'd voted against it. there was too many of them to sneak inside without catching anybody's attention, and he understood that, in case of emergency, the conductor was not one of them, he would not bet a million kruge job on one man's abilities.
