"Wonwoo?" Mingyu called as he entered the other boy's room "Wonwoo ?" he called again, Mingyu was startled by Wonwoo who hurriedly came out of the bathroom

"Hey, are you okay? I called for you a few times already" Mingyu said worriedly

"I heard you the first time you called, I was in the bathroom" Wonwoo sounded sarcastic making Mingyu chuckle "Okay fine, the others are waiting we should go"

Going through their schedule that day wasn't anything new, it was just another day in Seventeen's busy life

"Hey I need my charger back," Mingyu said looking around trying to address one person in particular but he realized that he was talking to no one other than himself

"W-where is he? Where did he go ?" he asked trying to locate Wonwoo who seemed to have disappeared but Mingyu was distracted a moment later by the voice of the director calling him for one more shooting and he wasn't going to keep him waiting.

At lunchtime, the younger was eating peacefully in the waiting room, well as peaceful as it can be with 12 other members ... wait ... Mingyu stopped looking around again at 11 other members because he couldn't spot Wonwoo. He suddenly had this strange feeling, Mingyu can't remember speaking to him all day and he still needs his charger back so he went looking for him

walking out of the waiting room into the hallway, Wonwoo was nowhere to be found until Mingyu walked all the way to the end of the hall where he finally spotted the older coming his way. He stopped "Where were you?" Wonwoo looked up

"Nowhere" Wonwoo shrugged trying to pass by Mingyu's side but the younger blocked his way

Mingyu examines the other's face, Wonwoo looked away obviously annoyed

"Are you ... are you avoiding me ?" Mingyu questioned, he hasn't seen the older for quite a while, and now he can't even look at him in the face. Wonwoo scoffed

"No, I'm not but if you can kindly move away it would be great, I need to get back"

Mingyu was confused but he moved away anyways. Wonoww walked past him like this conversation never happened. The younger felt weird, he was sure that Wonwoo was with them the whole time but not really with them too. He also doubted that he was avoiding him but something was definitely wrong.

Mingyu sighed at the view of Wonwoo's back walking further from him and entering the waiting room to join the others, he thought that he should let it go for now. Wonwoo is stubborn he knew that he won't tell him anything anytime soon.

The show went as planned, the performance was great, just another day in front of the cameras. Nothing was unusual until their manager came around to finally take them home. Wonwoo was gone again. The manager was frustrated when no one knew where he was and the search campaign started again. Mingyu had a bad feeling, why would Wonwoo disappear like this? This is not like him at all. Wonwoo was the introverted one, calm and would always stay out of trouble so was he acting like this?

By the time Wonwoo came back to the waiting room, the manager was furious. He scolded Wonwoo for taking so much time in the washroom ... that's where Wonwoo said he was.

The manager kept going on about how they could have been already on the road knowing that they are 2 hours away from home already but Wonwoo didn't seem to nudge. He was staring at the manager's face with empty eyes while his mind was somewhere else. Mingyu could clearly see that, actually, everyone could see that.

Walking toward their van, Mingyu slowed down to catch up with Wonwoo. He gently tapped his arm "Hey, are you okay?" He asked and Wonwoo gave him a dull look, no expressions were written on his face just an exhausted look and he nodded

"You don't look like it" Mingyu chuckled and when the other didn't respond

"Hey" ... "Let us sit next to each other on our way home" Wonwoo nodded again.

Mingyu didn't know if the other meant it or not but Wonwoo really seemed unstable. He gently held his arm and walked together down the road and got to their van sitting side by side. The van started moving and Wonwoo was already dozing off and Mingyu is now worried.

Watching Wonwoo's face in the dim lights of the passing cars and light poles in the middle of the night, the older didn't look good. Something was wrong and he wasn't talking to anyone. Mingyu could feel the mini heart attacks in his stomach, he reached his hand to hold Wonwoo and the touch felt a bit cold, he frowned looking closely at the boy's face. Lifeless he thought. Wonowoo just leaned into Mingyu's touch almost begging to be held, he just let his head fall on the boy's shoulder effortlessly as Mingyu put a hand around Wonwoo's shoulders bringing him closer

"Are you okay?" Mingyu asked once again above Wonwoo's head, the older twitched in his arms a little "Yeah" he mumbled and Mingyu didn't like the response he just got

"But you're shaking"

Mingyu could feel Wonwoo slightly writhing in his arms and he grew worried "I'm cold, but you're warm I'll be fine in a second"

Wonwoo said burying his head deeper into Mingyu's side. The younger tightened his hold around Wonwoo's shoulder sighing at the answer "You're going to bed as soon as we get home" Wonwoo chuckled "Where else will I go?" he answered.

Wonwoo was finally dozing off, Mingyu's scent was nice and he focused on the feeling the boy gave him. Strong pairs of arms around him, a warm embrace, and a nice scent. No matter how much he was tired, no matter what he was hiding, he knew that one way or another Mingyu will be there for him.

Wonwoo felt like he was floating, a bit cold too and he couldn't even feel the van moving. They said the ride will take around 2 hours but it felt like 20 minutes. When Mingyu gently stroke his arm and asked him to wake up when they arrived, Wonwoo picked his head up, eyes barely open, he couldn't move a muscle, Mingyu knew this look

"Can you walk?" he asked and Wonwoo nodded but still held into the younger like dear life until they finally got home.
