Mingyu met Wonwoo a couple of months ago and everything was felt like a dream ever since.
It was raining and Wonwoo was standing outside that small coffee shop, his backpack slightly open, full of books and paperwork simply staring into space, into the grey sky and listening to the sound of rainfall. He hated winter but the weather wasn't so bad today and he actually enjoyed it.
From across the street, Mingyu stopped right in the middle of the crossroad. His eyes widening and breaths stuck in his throat. He didn't expect this forgotten part of town to bring him the most unexpected joy of his life ... he didn't expect to meet his Mate.
Their eyes met and an instant spark was born.
Wonwoo had the same reaction when he finally noticed Mingyu standing there. Cars honking, the lights turned green and Mingyu was unmoving, his inner wolf howling at the tolls of its lungs making him freeze on spot, it was both surprising and terrifying. But soon, it calmed down and Mingyu gave Wonwoo the most reassuring soft smile.
Wonwoo on the other hand, was scared to death. He didn't expect to meet his Mate, he thought about running away for a while but his legs were pinned into the concrete floor and he couldn't move.

Wonwoo felt it too, the spark, the howl, his insides turning, and then came Mingyu's smile and it made all of his anxiety disappear.
And just like that, Mingyu approached him and they had their first date right there in that small coffee shop Wonwoo was standing in front of.
